Erev Yom Kippur Arrests: MK Yishai is shocked; Esser Agaroth is not.

י"ב לחודש השביעי תשע"ד

Arutz 7: Yishai ‘Horrified’ at Pre-Yom Kippur Eviction
Shas MK shocked as police raid outpost, arrest activists on eve of holiest day of Jewish year.

Maayana Miskin, September 15, 2013

MK Eli Yishai (Shas) expressed outrage Sunday after hearing that Border Police had raided an outpost and arrested activists shortly before the beginning of the Yom Kippur holiday, the holiest day of the Jewish year.

Seven outpost residents were forced to spend the first hours of the high holiday in a police station. They say they were released at 11 p.m. after being required to give their fingerprints – an act that is forbidden on the Sabbath or Jewish festivals.

“I’m horrified at the eviction that took place on the eve of Yom Kippur. This must be looked into,” Yishai said.

“Security personnel must take action against those who do not abide by the law,” he continued. “However, this law enforcement should, on rare yet obvious occasions, show sensitivity – such as when it comes to the need to avoid evicting outposts on the eve of Yom Kippur.”

“It’s troubling that we have reached a point where there is a need to create procedures for how to handle evictions on Yom Kippur,” he added. “It is even more troubling that, in the absence of clear guidelines, raiding an outpost on Yom Kippur is seen as legitimate.”

Yishai called on police commanders to look into the incident and create clear guidelines that will prevent similar incidents in the future.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I have defended MK Eli Yishai, and I have praised MK Eli Yishai, even in the face of criticizing his own Sha"S Party.

I have really pushed the limit with him, to the point of egg on my face. But, that does not look like it is going to happen again anytime soon.

First of all, any shock from a rabbi or an MK, and MK Eli Yishai is both, that the Israeli government would do such a thing as arrest or expel Jews from their homes near or even on Shabbath or a Holiday.

Decrying any kind of excuse for being shocked can also no longer be accepted. It has happened all too many times.

Let's begin with only 10 or so years ago, when soldiers were given orders to get on a bus on Shabbath, to expel the residents or Havath Gil'ad, not far east of Qarnei Shomron. It was later revealed that the IDF Rabbinate's "permit" for this Shabbath violation (sometimes, legitimately necessary in a Jewish military) was falsified. Sure, the soldiers should have refused such orders. Nonetheless, the IDF was certainly the instigator here.

Let us not forget that the Expulsion from Azza (Gaza, which includes Gush Qatif) was [aptly] carried out on the 10th of the Month of Menahem Av, the anniversary of the continued burning of the Beth HaMiqdash (Temple), after being destroyed on the 9th.

At the very least, the pressure is being kept on the residents of Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria). Who knows what else the Erev Rav-controlled government has up its sleeve? ...besides data-gathering, of course.

The second thing which irks me,...excuse me,...I mean disgusts me is MK Yishai's apparent belief that there is a need to create procedures for how to handle evictions on Yom Kippur, as if there should ever be any evictions (Read: "expulsions") period.

MK Eli Yishai may be shocked. Whether I believe him or not, I am still not 100% sure.

But, I most certainly am not. Not only did I see this coming ages ago, and not only would anyone else see this coming ages ago, if he were awake, and his eyes were open.

But, it already has happened several times. What are you going to do to prevent it from happening again?

Barry Chamish: Out Of Israel - Exodus

4 of the Second Month 5772

The following is a guest post from Barry Chamish, most prominently known as the author of Who Killed Yitzchak Rabin?

Even Rabin's own daughter, former MK Dalia Rabin-Philosoph, has expressed her belief that we do not know the whole story behind her father's "assassination."

Say what you will about Barry Chamish, but he's got something here, in the article below.

Personally, I think that the Migron residents (as I've said a million times before this) will eventually perform some symbolic passive resistance, and then get up and leave, and accept whatever agreements their "holy state" offers them.

Also, for the record, any time an Israeli "judge" mentions "law," "legal," or "illegal," it's a joke.  When they insist that Jews violate the Torah, then there's so-called "laws," are meaningless, at to any Jew who is committed to Torah and Misswoth.

Likewise, when Barry mentions "smartening up," I would include that to mean doing teshuvah.  That's my take on it, anyway.

That all being said, Barry's logic regarding rockets, missiles, and war is disturbingly reasonable.

I just received his permission to post this here.  As I explained to him, I believe that having a permanent URL will facilitate the ability to spread his work around the Net more quickly and efficiently.

Written Erev Pesah, the articles information and message is even more relevant to Yom Ha'Atzma'uth (Israeli Independence Day).

Below, you can find ways to support Barry's work financially.  This way more people will be able to access it, and wake up from their stupors.  Hopefully, this would also help him to provide more of his work in Hebrew, where, in my opinion, the need is even greater than in English.

The bold and color highlights are my additions.

OUT OF ISRAEL - THE NEXT EXODUS

Barry Chamish
Erev Pesah 5772 / April 6, 2012

Not two months ago, the head of military intelligence for the IDF, Aviv Kochavi felt he had to tell the public a painful truth. Israel's enemies, presumably not Egypt or Jordan, had 200,000 missiles aimed at everywhere in the country. In the next war, unlike the disastrous war of ' 06 which saw literally, the entire north driven south by the missiles, this time there would be nowhere to run. Kochavi may have let the cat out of the bag but the entire General Staff knows the stats that conclude Israel is a goner. So scared is this settler-less staff that less than a month before, they let Hamas rain over 300 rockets in 4 days from Rishon Letzion east to Beersheva. The army, overwhelmed with fear that any retaliation might spark a full scale war it would lose, sat on its hands comatose.

There is a threat that Israel has let its enemies know that, so far, has kept the next war in check. In Lebanon, Syria, Gaza and Iran, they have decided not to order the missile war ignited because Israel has threatened a kamikaze nuclear ending. Any rational person knows that Damascus cannot be destroyed by an Israeli nuke. It would be the same as nuking yourself. Located just 10 miles from the Golan Heights, if you destroy Damascus, and no matter which way the wind was blowing, the Golan and upper Galilee would be irradiated within minutes. The same goes for Sidon, Tyre, and Gaza. If you start the next war, we will lose, but you're going down with us. We will nuke you to oblivion, so don't do anything stupid.

This is not the first time Israel threatened itself and its neighbors with instant annihilation. In 1973, after Defense Minister Moshe Dayan made a secret deal with his American counterpart, Henry Kissinger to give the Arab armies an unprepared, unmobilized Israel, the diplomacy backfired and Israel was on the verge of being overrun. Realizing the price of his own treachery, Dayan ordered the nuclear missiles readied for a doomsday scenario. The Syrians understood the threat and did not take over the Galilee when the path was open for its army. It claimed it overran supply lines, quite a trick over the 2 hour long Golan Heights, and parked its troops by the upper Jordan River.

Back then, the Assad regime would have been very upset to see Damascus turned to rubble. Today, with the same Assad gang teetering on the precipice of a coup, who knows? If they go, then all of Syria goes with them. Israel's kamikaze end times scenario may not be anything but a helpful tool to let the Alawites go in a burst of glory. All it will take is firing the over 100,000 missiles it has aimed at Israel to get the party going. And Assad has threatened to do just this. Soon after, we will discover if the Shi'tes of the suicide bombers really believe they get the everlasting rewards with which they brainwashed their recruits.

The General Staff knows that losing the next war will end in a Holocaust, much quicker but just as sadistic, as Arabs hunt down and murder the surviving and often huddled and befuddled, Jews. If anyone does survive this orgy of butchery, they will be shipped out of Israel. To hold back this inevitability, the General Staff voted to give Tel Aviv an overpriced anti-missile system, the Iron Dome. It can handle a few dozen missiles at $100,000 a pop 85% of the time. It would be close to useless protecting Tel Aviv from the tens of thousands of missiles expected in the next and final war. Nobody was fooled into a sense of security by the IDF spokesman who said, "The Iron Dome system is in the process of operational reception. (Huh, what's dat?-BC) Currently, the system is positioned in the greater Tel Aviv are as part of the operational plan."

Well, heck, if it's part of the operational plan, then nothing to worry about. We won't live like our terrorized neighbors fifteen miles to the south with their stress trauma disorders, and their crazy kids gone nuts with the fear that the next second could be their last. Not when we're part of the operational plan, and the IDF is planning a major portion of its energy to the vital task of removing Jews from their homes in Migron.

It's final now, Israel is heading into civil war. This is the last straw for the settlers who watched the IDF bulldoze Gaza and leave the Jews without money or a place to live. Israeli broadcaster Tamar Yonah was my guest recently and she boasted that the settlers provide the most officers proportionally to the IDF, and her son is one such officer, always ready to defend his nation. I lost my suave objectivity. "Are you nuts," I calmly observed? "Your son's army and, maybe even he, are bulldozing your neighbors and terrorizing Jews. Your son's duty is to refuse all orders until the 'evacuations' are stopped."

In its final depraved act in the final days of Israel, the Supreme Court ordered the IDF to bulldoze Migron, necessitating retraining the army to dump Jews on the street, bulldoze their houses, and escape the thousands of Jews seeking violent revenge. The Supreme Court jackass President, one Asher Grunis, may he be the first tortured then murdered in the upcoming violence, most likely by Arabs but who knows, maybe a Jew will get there first, noted in his ruling: "Migron residents may harbor justified resentment against the state and its authorities."

Then he cites his predecessor Dorit Beinish, who in 2007 accepted $20m from the Ford Foundation to hand around to far left, pro-Arab organizations which would normally not exist. "We can only wish that the residents of the outpost will come to their senses and agree to accept their duty not to appear as lawbreakers, and that they will settle any other site that the state deems it to allow them." Or translated from the original arrogant, just pick up and move and quit complaining.

I know the IDF's plans for Migron and I'll watch them do their psychotricks from a distance this time. While the country's enemies get more and more ready for the final confrontation with Israel, and with the IDF's general staff knowing that it has no options but the final option left, it will obey the Supreme Court and plan an all-out war against the settlers. Get a lot smarter after you read my book: Bye Bye Gaza http://www.lulu.com/content/575116

The system of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) more or less worked because the Americans and Soviets didn't want their countries blown back to the Stone Age. In the dynamics of today's Middle East, Israel's kamikaze threat is working, badly, for now. I am sending this out just before the Passover, 2012. If the missile war could only be fought against Israel's leaders, then good riddance. But the naive, unbelieving, Israeli people are in for the Holocaust of their lives if they don't smarten up, possibly, in the nick of time.

Happy Holiday Everyone.

Migron Residents, Are You Still Whining?

4 of the First Month 5772

I am so sick of hearing about Migron. No, I do not wish any Jew to be thrown out, or even relocated, from his chosen home in Israel. But, these Mamlakhtim (undying State loyalists) can be SO frustrating. It almost makes me want to go up there, and start throwing stuff out of their homes myself, and then grab a sledge hammer from one of the Yassa"mniks (riot police), or whoever is executing the government's evil deeds these days!

Almost...

When are they going to wake finally, and realize that the Israeli government cares more about what the United States government, the United Nations (AKA: United Nothings), and the European Union than a Jew with a kippah on his head?!
IsraelNN.com: Migron Residents: Ball Is In Gov't Court
"We demand that the Prime Minister carry out the agreements and understandings," say residents.

Gil Ronen, March 26, 2012

Residents of Migron held a news conference Monday, one day after the High Court refused to countenance the agreements they had reached with the government about a gradual relocation of their community to a nearby location.

Itai Harel, one of the founders of Migron, showed journalists an aerial photograph taken before the community was established. "In all of the area of Migron, one does not see a single tree or house in the photos," he explained. No one ever thought it was his. The Jordanian government registered it as someone's, but no one saw himself as having been deprived of his property until Peace Now approached them...

Itai, are you and your buddies in Migron THAT naive?

It's as if you all think it's still May 16, 1948, ie. the day after Israeli Independence Day.

Wake up from your day dreams already! The State has changed tremendously since then, and in retrospect, it was never THAT friendly to religious Jews in the first place.

I can still remember the stunned and confused faces of the teenagers thrown out of their homes in Gush Qatif and the rest of Azza. They just couldn't believe , the perfect display of Denial, the first stage in the grieving process (See John Bowlby, Elizabeth Kubler-Ross).

You Mamlakhtim never seem to learn.

1. Just bring cake to the IDF soldiers "guarding" your town.

2. Follow orders in your own IDF unit to throw "extremists" (undying Torah loyalists) out of THEIR homes, and all will be well. Apparently, this time, all is not well.

Maybe this will be the kick in the pants they need to wake up. But I seriously doubt it.

I really do not blame you, though. You are simply going to have to accept the consequences of your actions, be that a comparable caravan down the road, or a luxury home in Adam. You may have to camp out for a while. But, don't worry. Spring has arrived, so you are not going to freeze.

Of course, you will also have to accept the consequences of your actions in HaOlam HaBa (The World To Come), when you are asked why you did not fight enough for Eretz Yisrael.

You will be asked why didn't you listen to your own Rabbi Tzvi Yehudah Kook ztz"l, who said to do EVERYTHING in order to delay and to prevent the evacuation of Jewish strongholds?

And, you will be asked why you call puppets and collaborators with the Eruv Rav controlled government "rabbis."

Opposition leader MK Tzipi Livni (Kadima) seems to be more grounded in reality than Migron residents.
(IsraelNN.com)...on Sunday [she] justified the Supreme Court’s decision to reject the compromise agreement reached with the residents of Migron in Binyamin. Her reasoning for justifying the decision is that it would be immoral to move the residents, just to have them move again in the future.

You see?

At least she is willing to state the final intention of the opposite.

Time and time again, you have put governments into power which have turned on you.

We elected Netanyahu, and we never saw the promised repeal of the Oslo Accords.

Together, we elected Sharon, and we ended up with Peres.

We elected Netanyahu again, and ended up with Baraq (ie. Peres's lacky).

And, yes, not so long ago, we elected Shamir, probably the least worst Israeli Prime Minister in history, and we ended up with his attendance at the Madrid Conference, the precursor to Oslo.

What makes you think that a Netanyahu government, which previously gave away Azza, Hevron, and Jericho, won't end up giving away your town from which YOU are known to have thrown out Jews, Jews who's only crime was the passing out invitations to a Hakhnasath Sefer Torah.

Time to stop repeating the same mistakes over again (and again, and again), and expecting different results.

I believe that Albert Einstein is credited with this definition of insanity.

Migron Compromise Is A Disgrace!

27 of the Twelfth Month 5772

IsraelNN.com: Arabs Angered By Migron Agreement
Arabs who failed to prove that the community of Migron was built on private land say the compromise with the residents is "a disgrace."

Elad Benari
, March 21, 2012

The Palestinian Authority Arabs who claimed, with the help of leftist Peace Now, that the community of Migron in Binyamin was built on private land but who have failed to prove that claim, are now complaining about the compromise that has been reached with the residents.

The residents of Migron recently signed an agreement, brokered by Minister Benny Begin, according to which residents will be uprooted from their homes at the current site and will be moved to a permanent neighborhood on state land nearby.

The agreement calls for the community to be relocated to its permanent location, near the Psagot Winery, in two years' time. The present site will be handed over to the Civil Administration. The existing structures at the site will be torn down but a "public site" may be established at the location instead of a residential community.

In any case, the location of the present Migron will remain Jewish and will not be handed over to Arab control. (Read the entire report)

What do you know? The Arabs were actually right about something this time. The so-called compromise between them and the residents of Migron IS a disgrace. Albeit they were right, for completely the wrong reasons.

It does not matter that Migron residents will be able to set up new town near the P'sagot Winery, which is literally a hop, skip, and a jump away from the current location of Migron.

It does not matter if the Israeli government claims that "the location of the present Migron will remain Jewish and will not be handed over to Arab control."

What does matter is that the rights of Jews to their eternal homeland is being decided by Erev Rav courts and organizations like Peace Now, which receive a significant percentage of its budget from the Norwegian government. The Israeli government and the residents of Migron are sitting back and allowing it.

That is the disgrace.

I predicted way back in 2008, that some sort of deal would be struck between the residents of Migron and the government, in A Likely Story. Even though the YeSh"A (Judea & Samaria) Council denied it up and down. I have been following this very annoying story ever since.

One of the options, at the time, was to move the residents of Migron into spanking, brand new houses in the town of Adam, which lies next to the northern city limits of Jerusalem, a reward for "good behavior." You see, the residents of Migron are known mamlakhtim, undying State loyalists, even when Israeli law stands in conflict with Torah Law, something which has been happening increasingly more often.

Years ago, two of my friends were thrown out of Migron for passing out fliers. The fliers were invitations to the celebration of bringing a Sefer Torah into the beth k'nesseth (synagogue) on the Tapu'ah West hill. My friends were thrown out to the "crime" of having the image of murdered Rabbi Me'ir Kahane hy"d on the fliers. How dare the beth k'nesseth be named after his murdered son and daughter-in-law, Rabbi Binyamin and Talia Kahane hy"d!

That synagogue was later torn down, by none other than the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF], with a permit signed by an IDF "rabbi."

'Nuff said.

Such is the nature of Migron.
  • Refusal to to defy the Israeli government and its overly powerful courts in favor of God and His Torah.
  • Refusal to do battle with evil friends of Yishma'el (Arabs) who forsake our God-given Homeland, and who are puppets of Esau (Europe/The West), because ...they are misguided brothers and sisters who need to be treated with unconditional LOVE.
  • Disgusting treatment of kosher Jews who follow in the path of a ga'on (great scholar) and tzadiq (righteous Jew).
One thing about the mamlakhtim is that they have surprisingly good record on the opposing of Christians infiltrating the country. So, it will interesting to see how they deal with the Christian "volunteers," hosted by their new, next door neighbor, the P'sagot Winery.

We will have to wait and see. We will also have to wait and see what kind of fabulous home the residents of New Migron will receive, while Jews in towns just as old, and even older than Migron, continue to suffer in run down trailers.

What Israel Did While No One Was Looking

Motza'ei Shabbath Qodesh Parashath Eqev 5771

Most of us (I hope) know that...
YNET: Man Killed, Baby Hurt As Rockets Pound The South

At least one man killed, four seriously wounded after rockets hit southern town of Beersheba; elsewhere, four-month-old baby, eight-year-old girl hurt after rocket hits Ofakim home

Southern Israel faces major rocket offensive: At least one man was killed and four others sustained serious wounds, including a woman in grave condition, after rockets fired from the Gaza Strip hit the southern town of Beersheba Saturday evening.

Local residents said the Iron Dome anti-missile system intercepted some of the rockets fired at the city in Saturday's salvo. The Popular Resistance Committees claimed responsibility for the deadly barrage.
And while everyone was focused on the Arab terror pounding the South...

August 20, 2011, 10:18 PM

Security forces are destroying "Ramat Migron" in the Binyamin Area. More than 20 youth were arrested on Shabbath on suspicion of attacking a Palestinian boy from Ramallah.
What was a "Palestinian" boy doing in the area anyway? It is pretty far from Ramallah, unless you have a car.

Nonetheless, we cannot just let this news item fly under the radar.

BBC 4 Interview: Shira and Daniel Gil'ad, Ramath Migron

11 of the Sixth Month 5769

Tipped off by Rafi at Life In Israel, I feel this video is well-worth re-posting.

BBC Channel 4 News interviews newlyweds Shira and Daniel Gil'ad of Ramath Migron, north of Jerusalem. Shira and Daniel actually met on Ramath Migron, and have returned as a married couple to continued their important work.

Shira is a daughter of fellow blogger David Morris of Ramath Beth Shemesh, who brought this interview to our attention on his Tzedek-Tzedek blog.

Shira did all of the speaking, being the native English speaker of the two. I thought that she came off very well.

As most of you know I am against PR/Hasbarah. (Who cares what the goyim think?!) That being said, I thought that the content of what Shirah said was clear and informative to those who don't have a clue as to the truth of what actually goes on in Israel. Shira succeeded in conveying important messages, even in spite of the biased comments of the news reporter and anchor.

I especially like how it was mentioned that Shira was proud of her grandparents being decorated by the Queen for their charity work. However, when she was in England a few years ago, she felt as if something was missing, and that she belonged in Israel.

Yitzhar: The Israeli Government's Jewish Expulsion Laboratory

15 of the Fourth Month 5769

Teen Wounded in Arson-Rock Terror Attack on Yitzhar Jews
Nissan Ratzlav-Katz, 8 Tammuz 5769/June 29

(IsraelNN.com) In what appears to have been a coordinated attack on Jews from Yitzhar, in Samaria, a group of Arabs set fire to agricultural fields on Monday evening and then released a barrage of rocks at people responding to the arson. IDF forces responded to the incident and dispersed the attackers. (Read more...)
Over the years, there quite a bit of attention has been on Yitzhar. Why Yitzhar?

I'll tell you why. It's really quite simple.

Yitzhar is by far the most ideologically-loyal town in the Shomron, and thus the biggest threat to the Israeli government.

Take down Yitzhar, and most everyone else in the Shomron (Samaria) will get up and go quietly.

Thus, Yitzhar has been one of the government's main [what I like to call] "Jewish Expulsion Laboratories," (That's expulsion, not propulsion.) experimenting with a variety of strategies to remove Jews from their towns and homes.

1. Torah-hating Jews and Yishma'elim (Arabs) have been given free reign to burn and destroy everything in their path. They have systematically burn fields, uprooted vineyards, including just before and during the Shmitah (Sabbatical) year, when Jews were powerless to do anything to repair most of the damage.

2. They even accuse Jews of doing some of the damage, sometimes even when trees have been properly pruned.
...said that left-wing activists look for trees that have been pruned, and then blame the Jews for cutting them. "They have even admitted to the police that they do this," he said, "such as in the case of Ein Avus near Hawara [south of Shechem]. In that incident, they blamed the people of [nearby] Yitzhar, because Yitzhar was a convenient media target. (Read more...)

3. IDF guards have, at the very least, not been given proper training regarding true, Torah Zionist culture. One soldier ignored an Arab entering the town on Shabbath because he assumed that it was a Yishma'eli worker. Of course, unlike other towns, the residents of Yitzhar would not allow any "work" to be done on Shabbath; they would not allow any Yishma'elim into Yitzhar at all! That "misunderstanding" resulted in the stabbing of a nine-year old boy.

4. Rabbis are arrested for teaching Torah and halachah, (Sabbatical) which happen to be contrary to Israeli Law.

5. So-called "Administrative Detention" orders have been given out by the IDF Central Command, resulting in the expulsion of Jews from towns, placing unimaginable financial and marital stress on residents.

Even un-Jewish [former] MK Zahava Gal-On (Mere"tz) has raised her objections to the use of this strategy:
"Noam Federman should be put on trial or released. Circumventing the law rather than upholding it points to hysteria and bewilderment and does not achieve its purpose." (Rosh HaShannah 5764/Sept. 30, 2003)

6. Recruitment of die-hard mamlakhtim (undying state loyalists) to relocate to ideological towns, thus changing the electorate. This has been done quite successfully just south of Yitzhar in K'far Tapu'ah, by the previous mazkir (town manager), who was believed to have been a plant. Reports of such a strategy being implemented in Yitzhar have been reported to me as well.

7. Of course, there are the [generally] biannual Shabba"k (General Security Service) "sweeps." Last fall, the investigations were supposedly about the alleged attack on Prof. Sternhell. A month ago, 15 residents of K'far Tapu'ah were dragged in, for I don't know what. It has been suggested that Shabba"k agents must justify there hours, by keeping logs of their activities, much like police officers have been accused of giving out large numbers of tickets at the end of each month to meet their quotas.

I am not so sure of that. Personally, I believe that the government has more devious motives, than its departments having to justify their budgets. Since when has the Israeli government garnered a reputation for financial responsibility? Besides, while Jews are building Sukkoth or cleaning for Pesah (Passover), what else does the Shabba"k have to do?

Yitzhar is not alone. Bat-Ayin, southwest of Efrat, has seen an increase in harassment on Shabbath in recent weeks, with Torah-hating Jews arriving on the scene to "help" the Yishma'elim (Arabs) work their fields. Only two months ago, Bat-Ayin suffered yet another horrible tragedy, the murder of a 13-year-old boy, and the wounding of a 7-year-old boy.

The Israeli government's experiments with how to expel thousands of Jews from their homes, in order to hand it over to our Yishma'eli enemies have also been taking place in Homesh, Havath Gil'ad, Shvuth Ami, and Adei Ad in the Shomron, and Hevron and Ma'on in Yehudah (Judea).

And who can forget Amona?

But, you ain't seen nuthin' yet...

When Lord King Emperor President B. Hussein Obama issues his command to vassal serf plebeian Prime Minister Netanyahu to kick Jews out of our Holy Land, there won't just be scrapes and scratches, and a few broken bones.

The Israeli government will have to send a real message to the settlers that they mean business.

Of course, many settlers are like those in Migron, who seem to be getting ready to get up and move. Once in Ofra, it was decided to take down a satellite neighborhood, before the IDF had a chance to. Gee! That really showed 'em!

Most everyone else will have their eyes on Yitzhar. The prevailing attitude will be, if they can take down Yitzhar, they can take down any town.

There is no need to say that they will come at night.

The efforts of Yitzhar's residents to reduce the IDF presence in their town, and to do their own guard duty will have been fruitless.

Cameras will be destroyed. Cellular phone and Internet communications will be jammed. But just for good measure, police name tags will be nonexistent. The government will have learned from the mistakes it made before and during the expulsion of Jews from Azza (Gaza).

Escape routes will be blocked off, and no child's cave or makeshift fort will be unturned. No warning will be given. No bags will be packed. Nothing will be spared, not a single pair of tefillin, not a single teddybear.

Everything will be burned to the ground.

The government will proclaim large amounts of compensation,...which Yitzhar's expelled residents will never see.

Photographs of the aftermath, along with a few of men with long payos striking a soldier and a police officer or two, will be carefully chosen and leaked to the right media outlets. Fear will be the result, not outrage. The media will already have succeeded in demonizing the settlers enough, so that everyone will think, "They got what was coming to them." Although, this will never be heard out loud, except for maybe in a house or two in K'far Shmaryahu, Ramat Aviv Gimmel, and yes, even Giv'ath Shmu'el.

All of this will surely come to pass, unless...

...unless we cast away our rose-colored glasses and naivete, and acknowledge what the government is trying to do.

...unless we cast away silly notions that the government is "holy."

...unless we cast away the idiocy that the government and the Torah are never in conflict.

...unless we finally stop whining that, "There's nothing we can do. We must accept that ge'ulah (redemption) will come qimah qimah (slowly, slowly),* sometimes takes a step backwards, and there's nothing more important than loving our fellow Jews...(even though that's not the halachah and even though these "Jews" are throwing you out of your homes and giving your land to our Yishma'eli enemies)."

Unless we stand up and do our part, Yitzhar and towns like it will be history.

Migron: C'mon! Are You Really Surprised?!

7 of the Fourth Month 5769

I predicted a year and a half ago that Migron residents will strike a deal with the government, and get up and abandon their homes. Even though, the YeSh"A (Judea, Samaria & Gaza) Council adamantly denied it at the time.

Now, maybe people will stop thinking that I am a crazy conspiracy theorist, and start believing me.
Activists to Migron Residents: Don’t Fall into the Trap
Hillel Fendel, 7 Tammuz 5769/June 29, 2009

(IsraelNN.com) Migron residents are asked to resist the government's offer of houses in a bigger town. "Placing us in ghettos will make it easier for them to destroy us," activists tell them.

...The Defense Ministry announced on Monday that it would build 50 new houses in the growing city of Adam for the Migron families. Migron is a hilltop neighborhood officially considered unauthorized – largely because of the lack of Defense Minister Barak’s signature of approval, as well as because of a lawsuit filed by Arab residents – sought out by Peace Now – on part of the land.

The news article does not contain any response, nor state of any kind, from Migron residents, nor Rabbi Tzvi Tau, the Rosh Yeshivath Har HaMor, and spiritual leader of many of Migron's residents.

The residents of Migron are notoriously mamlakhtim (undying state-loyalist). It was an easy prediction to make regarding their "get up and go" response. Most mamlakhti, rabbinic authorities have told IDF soldiers that they may not refuse orders from their commanders, even when they entailed going against the Torah, like throwing Jews out of their homes and destroying Jewish towns.

Some rabbis, like Rabbi Tau have told soldiers that they should try their best not to participate in such actions. However, others have said, very clearly, that they may not refuse orders.

As a reward for their loyalty, Migron residents will receive permanent housing a hop, skip, and a jump away from Jerusalem, several steps up from their current caravans (trailers). The only remaining question is whether Migron residents will put up a symbolic resistance, before they get up and leave. At this point, it does not look like that's in the cards.

C'mon! Are you really surprised?!

The Road To Hell

16 of the Fifth Month 5768

Activists Protest Yesha Council Decision on Migron
16 Av 5768, August 17, '08, 12:24 PM

(IsraelNN.com) Angry activists are planning to block entrances to the houses of senior officials in the Yesha Council, as well as hire private investigators to follow them around, according to a report Sunday by IDF Army Radio. Leaflets calling on the public to "Stop Yesha Council's hegemony in order to prevent the Gush Katif scenario from re-occurring," will also be distributed, said activists.

The measures are being taken to protest the decision by the Yesha Council leadership to accept a government proposal to abandon the Migron community site and move its 40-plus families to an area closer to Jerusalem.

Yeah, right. Whatever. Although I like and appreciate the "usual suspects" who will probably be there, like Women In Green, Land of Israel Faithful, Youth for the Sake of the Land of Israel, former Qedumim mayor Daniella Weiss, etc., haven't we already learned that protests really don't do much?*

Migron

Migron's going.

As usual, the government will get what it wants. Remember? Not even a "democratic vote," of 60 percent of Likud members against the expulsion of Jews from Azza becoming Likud Party policy, could stop then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon from doing whatever he wanted.

The YeSh"A Council (Why they don't rid of the "A" already I don't know, as they give a damn about Azza nor its former residents.) will find some way to spin the pending Migron expulsion as either....

1. In everyone's best interests

2. Voluntary, and thus no one really caved into the government's demands

3. or some mamlachti nonsense about "unity taking precedence over all else"

(Unity with whom? Unity with evil people? They still don't get it.)

4. < Insert your own lame excuse here >

Like I said, Migorn's going, and protests accomplish little to nothing in the end, save for gaining some publicity. People are going to make protests anyway, because they feel, as any normal Jew would, that they have to try to do something.

I suggest that we start paying more attention to who exactly shows up to these protests. I predict that gradually you will more and more Xians popping up at protests. They will undoubtedly be portrayed by Women In Green, the Likud Party, and possibly even Arutz 7 (I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now, but see below) as "our friends," blah, blah, blah...

"The road to Hell was paved with 'good intentions.'"

I highly recommend that you book mark or subscribe to feeds from The Key To Redemption blog. She keeps tabs on Xian activity in Israel, and knows which "code words" to look for. She goes deep into Xian sites to dig up the information which unfortunately not too many "right-wing" Jews want to see. Then when "left wing" Jews bring this stuff up, they are ignored or laughed at because of their "intentions."

Below is just a sample of the information she has gathered regarding Xians' intentions to come to Israel, to stay, and to missionize. She also exposed the false "Efraimites" who visited Kfar Tapu'ah recently and two years ago, and their real intentions.

The Key To Redemption: Ephramites (Xian Zionists) Form an Alliance with Likud

Joel Bell and his wife are xtians living in the tribal land of Binyamin. They run Frontline Israel.

"They serve the Jewish people in the land of Israel teaching the covenants that G-d has with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and their descendents, and with those who have been grafted in to the commonwealth of Israel.

Says Joel Bell, Director of Frontline, "G-d is so real to these people and to us simply because we hear the Word of G-d and we obey it - together, becoming pleasing to our Heavenly Father and receiving our eternal inheritance."

I mentioned the Likud. Here's another excerpt from The Key To Redemption exposing the Likud:

The following are excerpts from an email sent by Eddie Chumney of Hebraic Heritage Ministries.

This e-mail concerns the plans to start a GLOBAL organization to be called,"Worldwide Biblical Zionists" at the invitation from World Likud in the land of Israel to work with Judah in the land to "build up Zion".

In January 2007, the Chairman of World Likud, Danny Danon appointed Joel Bell to begin the initiative to unite Bible believers all over the world to work with World Likud to "build up Zion".

Within a year, we want to have 1 MILLION members of this organization. Joel Bell will be the director of Worldwide Biblical Zionists. Eddie Chumney of Hebraic Heritage Ministries Int'l will be working closely with Joel to build the network to accomplish this vision.
The want more than our souls. They want to implant themselves here, and to take our Land.

See how the so called Christian Zionists have been exploiting this video with Arutz 7's Yishai Fleischer. Yishai says many things with which I agree. He tries expose the "lies" perpetrated by the media about what is really taking place here in Israel, and specifically in Yehudah and Shomron. But what about the lie which is Christianity? What about their conveniently changing philosophy over past 30 or so years to get a foot hold into the land?

There is NO difference between overtly missionizing, Xians and so-called Xian Zionists.

But for those "right-wing" Jewish brothers of mine who seem to think that there is a difference, can't you even "Google" the name Marty Gale, to find out his real intentions?

Key To Redemption: Idolatry In The Holy Land

From their website:

At this time, the vision for the ICD is to build a bridge, using music and dance, joining the Christian church and the Jewish people together in praise. In this way, the Christian church can join in the revival and learn that it is possible to be so in love with God that you just have to dance wildly around the room! From this bridge, the Jews may come to see that their Messiah, who is to come, has already come! Then we can all dance together in the Kingdom of Yeshua (ysh"w) the Messiah

I Told You So, I Told You So, I Told You So....

Yesha Council Agreed to Relocate Migron
by Nissan Ratzlav-Katz
11 Av 5768, August 12, '08

(IsraelNN.com) The Council of Jewish Communities of Judea, Samaria and Gaza (Yesha) decided Monday night to unanimously accept a proposal to transfer the community of Migron in Samaria to a nearby location. The decision comes one week after the Binyamin Regional Council rejected the idea. (Read more...)

The YeSh"A Council has been denying that they have been in negotiations to dismantle towns in Yehudah and Shomron for months now.

I suspect that they will issue one or more of the following lame excuses:

1. Migron isn't being dismantled; it's being moved. So we weren't lying when we said we weren't in negotiations to dismantle settlements.

2. We changed our minds. It's for our own good, in order to strengthen other settlement blocks.

3. The government will NEVER evacuate Ofra, Bet-El, Kokhav Ya'aqov, nor Pesagot, so Migron will most likely be within any future border arrangement, and we can choose to build there in the future.

4. (Insert your own lame excuse here.)

Now what I'd like to know is, just exactly WHO is on the Yesha Council besides Danny Dayan.

Whoops! The Yesha Council Website is down, so I am unable to access that information. How convenient!

I always thought that the regional council heads are automatic members of the Yesha Council. So if Avi Ro'eh (Binyamin) and Gershon Masiqah (Shomron) are against such an agreement to move Migron, then how could the Yesha Council decision have been unanimous, unless the make0up has changed, and the regional heads no longer sit on the council?

Meanwhile, the verdict is still out on what the residents will do. Sure the above report says that they're not going without a fight. But, we still don't know what that means, and we still haven't heard from Rav Tzvi Tau, the rav and spiritual leader of many of Migron's residents.

Previously I stated that all eyes should be on Migron. But, now I'm not so sure that this will be the critical juncture I thought it would be.

Gershon Mesiqah says that blood will be spilled. My bet is on some kind of symbolic resistance, and then they're up and out of there. The only major resistance will come from the new stronghold, adjacent to Migron, established by Youth for the Sake of Eretz Yisrael, or those sympathetic to their cause.

I think it might go pretty smoothly, with only those in the adjacent stronghold getting pummeled (May God forbid), demonized, jailed, and demonized some more, with the Migron residents quietly packing up, and disassociating themselves from "those fanatics."

One of the residents of stronghold reported that they are "not welcome" by the mamlachti residents of Migron.

No surprises there. How dare Jews settle the Land without official, government approval! (sarcasm) ...which residents of Migron continue to insist that they have such permission.

All I can say is to bring cameras, and we'll see what the government has in store for photographers during this round.

(There is still a campaign to locate photographers who were present at Amona, to see if they can provide any assistance to the cases pending against the police. Please contact me if you had a camera and were there.)

When are they going to wake up,...and stand up?

When there's a conflict between halachah and the government, go with the halachah.

So what will happen to Migron? Who knows. But more miraculous things have happened in the past. Maybe they will wake up.

Still In Denial?

6 of the Fifth Month 5768

Does the Pesha* Council (Yehudah, Shomron, and Azza) still deny it has been collaborating with the government to expel Jews from their homes?

Binyamin Council Rejects Chever's Offer on Migron
5 Av 5768, August 6, '08, 10:09 PM

(IsraelNN.com) The Binyamin Regional Council management rejected the proposition by Ze'ev Chever ("Zambish") to cooperate with the government in the eviction of the residents of the Migron community, which the government says is an illegal outpost.

Chever's position was rejected by a vote of six to one.

Now that's what the Binyamin Regional Council has to say. We haven't heard the last of this. That's obvious. I previously predicted that there might actually end up being an agreement of some sorts between the residents themselves and the government, to relocate. Thus any "rulings" of the Binyamin Council would be rendered irrelevant.

Most residents of Migron are mamlachtim, albeit of the frumer than average, Rav Tzvi Tau variety. Mamlachtim generally have nutty ideas about the relationship between Am Yisrael and the [almighty, lehavdil] State of Israel, like that we have to listen its government even when it makes pronouncements against hallachah.

Ramba"m: Laws of Kings and Wars

3:10 [9] One who nullifies a decree of the king for the sake of being involved with misswoth, even a lesser misswah -- is exempt [from punishment]. The words of a rabbi, the words of a servant, the words of the rabbi take precedence. And one does not need to say that if the decree of the king nullifies a misswah, that one does not listen to him.

...all the more so, one does not listen to someone, who is not a king, which decrees the nullification of misswoth.

The above quote from the Ramba"m was invoked more than once by Rabbi Meir Kahane HY"D. No body seemed to get it; no body offered any legitimate, hallachic argument, just the usual "No, you don't understand. It's more complicated than that."

No, it's not in the least bit complicated. But since when have the mamlachtim employed hallachic reasoning in these matters?

How The YeSh"A Council Thugs Celebrated Israeli Independence Day

4 of the Second Month 5768

My sources tell me that there was a major poster war during the recent nights of posting announcements for Yom HaAtzma'uth (Israeli Independence Day) events in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea & Samaria).

The war was between publicizing a "Land Of Israel Supporters event in the destroyed town of Homesh in the heart of the Shomron near Jenin, and a YeSh"A Council-sponsored event in the mamlachti town Migron, just north of Jerusalem.

Layers upon layers of posters over posters, from the back and forth coverage, could be found throughout the Shomron. In between were the Jonathan Pollard posters struggling for space. My sources tell me that if there was a choice between covering up a YeSh"A/Migron poster with a Pollard poster versus covering up a Homesh poster, it was a no-brainer.

The YeSh"A/Migron poster got it.

Important rabbis, unafraid to express Torah truth, even if means criticizing the Israeli Goverment, could be found in Homesh. They included Rabbi Yisrael Ariel (Sanhedrin, Temple Institute), Rabbi Dov Lior (Qiriyath Arba-Hevron), Rabbi Gadi Ben-Zimra (Ma'aleh Levona), Rabbi "Dudi" Dudekevitch (Yitzhar).

Where do you think my friends were?

This year's Yom HaAtzma'uth preparations did not go unmarred by the typical violence and suppression of free-speech expected in Yehudah and Shomron.

Yet, this time around it was particularly disgusting, as it was perpetrated [openly] by the YeSh"A powers that be, and their thugs....

Translated from the website:

"The Land of Israel: Continuing On and Proudly So"
Violence In The YeSh"A Council
Wed., 2 Iyyar 5768 (5/7/08), 6:19 PM

Pinchas Wallerstein of the Yesh"a [Judea, Samaria, & Gaza] Council leaders violently attacked three minors who were putting up posters near Ofra. The posters attacked the YeSh"A Council and its agreement regarding [the removal of some of] its strongholds.

Vallerstein ripped up the posters, and with the aid of three security personnel from Ofra, struck the minors, broke into their vehicle, and stole about 2,000 posters.

The minors demanded that he identify himself, but he refused, and was identified by the residents of Ofra who were also there.

They are currently checking into the filing of a complaint with the police regarding the attack and the theft.
They were putting up the following poster:

Translation:

3 years after Gush Qatif

3 years after the great exercise in deception at Kfar Maimon

Once again, the YeSh"A Council collaborates and participates in the expulsion of Jews.

In Mevo Horon, the YeSh"A Council, together with the town administration uprooted the stronghold adjacent to the town.

In Beth Yatir, the YeSh"A Council, together with the town administration destroyed caravans (mobile home/trailers) in its stronghold to the south.

The YeSh"A Council calls us out to march in Migron on Independence Day, and at the same time it says, "these days in which they talk about destruction and evacuation...." when they themselves are participants in activities destroying Jewish towns!!!

Including attempts to convince the people of Migron to move to the town of Adam (Geva Binyamin).

The call to come to march in Migron is an empty display of the struggle which in fact puts the pressure on to help Migron willingly.

We should not fall into this trap!

Stop the agreement [to remove] strongholds!

Go out into the open spaces!

Establish new settlement points!

Land Of Israel Youth
Land Of Israel Faithful

The second poster distributed, and which can also be found at the link above, basically states that the Independence Day Parade by Migron (the mamalachti town closer to Jerusalem than Ofra) is a joke, and is really its funeral procession.

Defense Minister Ehud Baraq has said previously that he plans to move the community this summer.

Today some of the Lard Of Israel activists paid the Migron event a visit....

Activist Groups Clash in Migron

(IsraelNN.com) Supporters and opponents of the Yesha Council clashed Thursday during a rally in the community of Migron. Police arrested two activists who were involved in the fighting.

Thousands of Israelis streamed to Migron on Thursday to show support for the town, which the government has threatened to destroy this summer. Members of the Loyalists to the Land of Israel, lead by Daniella Weiss, began distributing pamphlets accusing the Yesha Council of “assisting in the expulsion of Jews” through its support for the voluntary evacuation of some Jewish towns in exchange for official government authorization for others.

Fighting broke out when members of Loyalists to the Land of Israel began shouting during a speech by Yesha Council head Danny Dayan. [Daniella] Weiss later said she felt it was important to interrupt Dayan in order to publicize the Yesha Council’s tactics. [Yesh"a Council Head Danny] Dayan said the Yesha Council was doing what was necessary to strengthen Jewish life in Judea and Samaria, and would not be deterred by violence.

Same old YeSh"A Council hypocrisy, ,...and the mamlachti (state loyal religious) sheep going to slaughter,...but not before they hug the soldiers.

"Ahavath Hinam"
(unconditional love), conditionally applied.

A Likely Story

8 of the Eleventh Month 5768

Here is the latest on the activities of the YeSh"A Council, which should really change it's name to Ye"Sh already. The "A" stands for Azza (Arabs call Gaza). I sincerely doubt the Ye"Sh Council is doing anything in particular at the present time to encourage settlement there. We all know how they "helped" prevent the 5765 (2005) expulsion of Jews from there: K'far Maimon and Mr. Goldstein's "stage performance" among other "helpful" activities.

My comments are interpursed amongst Hillel Fendel's clear and concise story on Arutz 7 (Israel National News).

Yesha Council Denies Outpost-Dismantling Report
by Hillel Fendel, 7 Shevat 5768/January 14, 2008 5:40 PM

(IsraelNN.com) Danny Dayan, head of the Yesha Council of Jewish Communities in Judea/Samaria, denies reports that an agreement has been reached regarding the peaceful dismantling of Jewish outposts.

A Monday report in Haaretz quoted sources close to Defense Minister Ehud Barak as saying that an agreement had been reached between his office and representatives of the Yesha Council. The purported agreement stipulates that no resistance would be offered by Jewish residents to the dismantling of 18 outposts throughout Judea and Samaria. In exchange, Barak reportedly agreed to allow some construction - currently frozen throughout Yesha.

OK, so who is lying? Dayan? Baraq? Or Ha'aretz, trying to cause problems, or just being irresponsible?

My understanding of the Ramba"m's commentary on the concept of kaf zkhuth (giving benefit of the doubt), presented in Mishnah Avoth 1:6 would suggest that the Jew who is unknown is to believed over the know perpetrators of evil.

I am certainly not on any level to make such determinations on my own. I will let you decide if may understanding is applicable here, and if so, who mentioned above fits which category. Personally, until I here other direct statements from Dayan, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Even though there definitely seems to be an element here of "making the same mistake over again expecting different results," when it comes to showing any signs of trust in the YeSh"A Council.

Yesha Council head Danny Dayan told Arutz-7, however, that the above is simply not true. "There have been many negotiating sessions with Barak's people," Dayan said, "and it is possible to reach agreements - but this has not been done. It does not even appear that there will be any further talks in the near future."

What "agreements?" That's what I would like to know? What is there to agree upon?

26 Jewish Locations in Dispute
Hundreds of residents live in some 26 contested outposts throughout Judea and Samaria. Dayan explained to Arutz-7 that these 26 are on the chopping block "because they were built after March 1, 2001" - the date ex-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon promised U.S. President George Bush that no new communities would be built. The ultra-left Peace Now organization has long demanded, in its quest to de-Judaize Judea and Samaria, that these and other Jewish outposts be destroyed.

Dayan tells us that these 26 "outposts" are on the government's list for destruction, apparently due to U. S. pressure. No surprises here.

This coming February 6 is a significant date, because the Supreme Court is expected to rule then on the legality of one of the largest Jewish outposts in Judea and Samaria - Migron, with some 45 families. Though some of the land was definitely purchased by Jews, the Court is expected to rule that other parts of the community are situated on private, Arab-owned land. It could be, however, that the Court will, as it has done several times in the past, postpone a final ruling on the matter.

Migron
Migron is considered a strategically-critical Jewish town, situated on a hilltop overlooking the main highway from Jerusalem to Beit El, Ofrah, Shilo and other towns in Shomron. Its 45 families have not been permitted to increase their numbers over the past several years.

No one expects the dismantling of Migron to go over without an Amona-style fight. Two years ago, Amona was the scene of a very violent clash between police and army forces, on the one hand, and many hundreds of Land of Israel supporters who came to protest the government's eviction of nine Jewish families from their homes. Amona is situated just above the veteran community of Ofrah; Migron is located less than ten kilometers directly south of Amona.

Setting my criticism of the YeSh"A Council, and warnings to be wary of it, aside for a moment, I call your attention to the town of Migron.

Many of Migron's residents are followers of Rabbi Tzvi Tau, founder of the Har HaMor Yeshivah. Rabbi Tau has come out against the participation of soldiers in expelling Jews from their homes. He has even been critical of Rabbi Sedan of the B'nei David pre-IDF Mekhinah program for being too much on the side of the State on this issues. However, Rabbi Tau is still known to be a mamlakhti rabbi, trying to walk that tight rope of loyalty to Torah, without shunning the increasingly non-Torah oriented State.

It will be very interesting indeed how Rabbi Tau will react, and instruct his followers to behave, vis-a-vis their "brothers" (IDF soldiers and riot police Yassamkiqim who have come to thrown them out of their homes. I believe that this will be a critical juncture for the Jewish People. All eyes should be on Migron to see how this community and its spiritual leaders react when push comes to shove. May the Almighty show them, and all of us, mercy.

Possibly the second-largest of the 26 contested outpost neighborhoods is Givat Assaf. Its 18 families live in another vital strategic position - along the Jerusalem-Ofrah highway, at the turnoff to Beit El. The neighborhood is named for Assaf Hershkovitz, who was murdered by Palestinian terrorists in 2001 just past the site of the present-day neighborhood. Just three months earlier, Assaf's father had been murdered in a similar road-side terrorist shooting, near the Atarot airport in northern Jerusalem.

The Solution
Dayan said that he and his colleagues in Yesha demand that all outposts on state-owned land - which are most of them - be immediately approved, and that an acceptable relocation solution be found for the others.

Gotcha! What acceptable location? ALL of the Land is ours. The self-created, and funded directly from the Office of the Prime Minister, YeSh"A Council, is supposed to have the goal of encouraging the settlement of the Land. Apparently, it's real goal is just to get what it can, and call it a day. It fails to see that the government doesnotplay by the rules. Whenever it sees that its enemies are winning according to the rules, the Supreme Court just steps in to change them. The likes of the YeSH"A Council fail to see any alternative in strategy, and carries on with its fruitless lobbying and public relations activities.

Its vision seems to be one not guided by the Torah's explicit statements that it is forbidden to relinquish land to non-Jews.

We can debate this statement another time. The purpose of mentioning this concept here is to expose the hypocrisy of the so-called religious Zionist organization known as the YeSh"A Council. Come to think of it, are any Torah concepts even mentioned in the YeSH"A charter? So perhaps my use of the term "religious" is inaccurate. It is no secret that most Israelis and Jews and non-Jews around the world see it as such. In any event, the remaining residents of YeSh"A (now Ye"Sh) who still trust in the YeSh"A Council need to wake up to the realization that they have been duped. Otherwise, the Jewish presence in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samamria) will diminish, if not disappear altogether. May the Almighty forbid!

Olmert and Barak
Tensions between Prime Minister Olmert and Defense Minister Barak on the issue of the outposts have recently surfaced. Olmert said on Sunday that it is a "disgrace" that the "unauthorized outposts" have not been dismantled all these years - while Barak staffers say that whoever suggests dismantling outposts without dialogue with the "settlers" reveals signs of "light-headedness."

It will be recalled that one of Olmert's first acts as Prime Minister two years ago was to order the violent destruction of the nine Amona houses, leading to hundreds of wounded.

I will leave you with a video presentation of what happened in Amona almost a year ago. Many videos can be found on the Internet covering this catastrophe. It is important to keep this memory fresh. This particular video focuses on the "trampling of democracy." Ask yourselves this question, where was the YeSh"A Council? What were they doing? Many of the powers that be, not all but many, were trying to convince the protesters at Amona to go quietly. They don't get it. There is no more "going quietly." Keep your eyes on Migron.

Carl at Israel Matzav reminds us of Google's willingness to report on blogger's identities. Last fall a candidate running in local Shomron elections actually went down this road.

Batya at The Eye of the Storm also warns us to be wary, and of whom.

If you do not see any activity on this blog all of a sudden please e-mail me. I do not want to be another one of those Shomron residents who has mysteriously disappeared, temporarily or otherwise.
