לפני כשלוש שנים נשברה לי כף הרגל. היה לי גבס חודש וחצי והסתובתי בקביים כחודשיים. בזכות הנסיון הזה אני מבין את התנאים של הנכים בארץ עוד טיפ-טיפה יותר. וכן עכשיו אני ממש מבין את כל המחאות וחסימות הכבישים על ידי הנכים שאנו סובלים מדי פעם. צפו את הסרטון למטה לדוגמת מחאה שלא טרח לציבור כל-כך כרגיל.
הנה התלונות שלי. הן לא נגד הממשלה בלבד אלא גם נגד האחים והשכנים שלנו:

תחנות האוטובוסים הן לא חניות לרכבים! ואפילו זמנית! האוטובוסים לא יכולים להתקרב למדרכה בכלל כשרכבים חוסמים להם את הדרך. במצב כזה קשה מאוד למי שהולך בקביים לעלות לאוטובוס מהכביש. ואי אפשר בכלל לכיסא גלגלים.
אולי מישהו לוקח מעט זמן יותר מהרגיל לחצות את הכביש והרכב לפניכם עצר בשבילו. אין צורך לצפצף מייד. אלא להמתין דקה לפחות לפני להתעצבן על המצב.
רטיבות בדרך היחידה! מי שמתהלך בקביים יכול לעקוף את המקום הרטוב. אבל אם זו הדרך היחידה הוא יכול ליפול להפגע ואפילו למות מהנפילה.

About three years ago I broke my foot. Since then I have been working on and off on this post. I decided to finish it - yes, even during attacks on us by Iran -- because the daughter of friends of mine broke her ankle while heading downstairs toward a protected area during an attack.
It seemed appropriate to post this, since, unfortunately, some of our friends and neighbor, and needless to say, our soldiers, will be added to the list of disabled people in Israel. The issues and solutions I propose here are not political, or at least they should not be. They are just common sense.
I was in a cast for a month and a half and I on crutches for about two months. Thanks to this experience, I understand the conditions of the disabled in Israel a little more. And yes, now I really understand all the protests and roadblocks by the disabled that we suffer from time to time. Watch the video below for an example of a protest that didn't bother the public as much as usual.
Here are my complaints, not only against the government but also against our brothers and neighbors:
Lack of ramps to places without elevators. With crutches I was able to go down the stairs little by little. God help me, if the stairs were wet! And what happens to those in wheelchairs?
The bus stops are not car parks! And even temporarily! The buses cannot approach the sidewalk at all when vehicles block their way. In such a situation it is very difficult for someone who walks on crutches to get on the bus from the road. And it's not possible at all for a wheelchair.
Maybe someone is taking a little longer than usual to cross the road and the vehicle in front of you has stopped for him. No need to beep right away. But wait at least a minute before getting upset about the situation.
Moisture is the only way! Those who walk with crutches can bypass a place that is wet, or where there is a puddle. But if this is the only way, he can fall and get hurt and even die from the fall.
Do not touch a disabled person to help him without asking first. There is a possibility of startling him and causing him to fall. And maybe he doesn't want your help. Maybe his doctor or physical therapist wants him to do what is needed on his own.

When someone crosses the road slowly and the vehicle in front of you stops for them, there is no need to beep immediately. The positive side of it, people wanted to help me, they let me sit in seats designated for the disabled without having to ask.

When did they know? At the president's age, shouldn't a prostate exam, either digital or blood test, be included in his annual physical examination? Should it not be carried out on all men over the age of 50?

The revealing of Biden's cancer diagnosis was made now, either as a strategy of the Democratic Party to get President Trump and Fox News to lay off of him finally. Or Biden is on his last legs physically or cognitively, and it was decided to begin preparing the American People for his absent from public life, and subsequent decline that they can no longer hide, and his eventual death.
The answers to all of the other questions? Who knows?
Chances are these will be the tools of the conservatives in the next political battle, emphasizing the targeting of the Democratic Party and their media lackeys, while the leftists will play the victim and the more moderate Democrats will play both sides, accusing the far left of the cover up, and the conservatives of playing the blame game instead of reining in the far right, and focusing on the needs of the American People.

For those of you who were, up until now, uncertain of the legal status of electronic cigarettes, now you know. The fact that vapers think it is acceptable to force anyone to smell the scent of those things, let alone inhale whatever chemicals they contain, is beyond me. It could simply be due to our increasingly lessened sensitivity to issues of boundaries.

בתור פסיכותרפיסט אני בעד "טיפול". אני פשוט טוען שהטיפול צריך להתחיל בפסיכותרפיה, ולא בחלוקת מרשמים מיידי להחלפת הורמונים ותזמון של ניתוחים בלתי הפיכים.
למרות שישראל נראת מאופקת יותר מכמה מדינות בארה״ב, שר הבריאות היוצא ניצן הורוביץ עדיין מנסה לקדם את האג'נדה השמאלנית, שלדעתי בריאות הנפשית של מתבגרים לא נמצאת בראש סדר העדיפויות שלה.

According to a Channel 14 report, outgoing Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz circulated a draft proposal instituting several radical policies under the noses of Israeli voters, calling for public funding for gender reassignment surgeries, including free breast removal surgeries for minors with the consent of their parents.
The draft was circulated by the medical division of the Health Ministry that was addressed to all hospital directors and the managers of HMO’s medical departments. It is signed by Dr. Hagar Mizrahi, head of the medical division at the health ministry. The draft was published on October 25 and requires a response from the addressees by November 16. This could mean that the content of the draft might be adopted by the ministry before a new coalition government is established.
The same draft also proposes allowing one to change one’s gender in the population registry (and consequently alter one’s ID card) only based on a statement, without having undergone the medical or surgical procedure to actually change one’s gender.(cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢): The trend in the U. S. is to talk about "gender-affirming treatment," for minors who view themselves as trans-gendered, as opposed to just "treatment."
I am all for "treatment," but that should begin with psychotherapy, and not an immediate prescription for hormones and the scheduling of body transforming, irreversible surgeries.
Even though Israel is more restrained, outgoing Israeli Minister of Health Nitzan Horowitz is still trying to advance an agenda, an agenda which, in my opinion, does not have the mental health of adolescents very high up on its list of priorities.
Horowitz's Meretz Party lost seats. So he will not be returning to the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) this coming term. His left leaning coalition will be in the opposition. So, it is no wonder that he is rushing around in a last ditch attempt to push through anything he can.
Upon hearing this euphemism "gender-affirming treatment," I immediately thought of the following condition.
Gynaecomastia (sometimes referred to as "man boobs") is a common condition that causes boys' and men's breasts to swell and become larger than normal. It is most common in teenage boys and older men....
Puberty
During puberty, boys' hormone levels vary. If the level of testosterone drops, oestrogen can cause breast tissue to grow. Many teenage boys have some degree of breast enlargement. Gynaecomastia at puberty usually clears up as boys get older and their hormone levels become more stable...
Treatment options include
medication to adjust a hormone imbalance
surgery to remove the excess breast tissue
As far as I understand, gynaecomastia can sometimes be treated with liposuction alone, often a less complicated procedure than breast tissue removal and nipple modification in biological women, choosing to do so. The skin at that age can be elastic, and as a boy's pectoral muscles develop, he may not require any additional treatment.
Gynaecomastia can be devastating to boys, if they do not undergo treatment. Many boys simply try to hide their condition, terrified they will have to removed their shirts during physical education [PE] for swimming or to play on teams either as "shirts" or the dreaded "skins."
It is well-documented how girls and women incur judgments about the appearances of their bodies, both from society and from within. News flash! So do boys and men.
Trans people, suffering from gender dysmorphia, experiencing their bodies as "not what they are supposed to look like," should, themselves, be able to relate.
I cannot think of too many treatments, which are as "gender-affirming," as the treatment of gynaecomastia in boys going through the pain and awkwardness of adolescence. That is why I was disappointed, but not surprised, to see the conclusion to "Treatment options" on this NHS UK page:
Male breast reduction surgery is not usually available on the NHS for the treatment of gynaecomastia.
The procedure is available at private hospitals and clinics.
I searched on my own Health Management Organization's [HMO] website in Hebrew. I did find gynaecomastia listed. It seems that a distinction is made between medical and aesthetic reasons for coverage, and that hormonal treatment may be indicated first, before liposuction and additional surgery. I did not find if there was, or was not, any difference in coverage for boys with unwanted breast tissue versus female to male gender transitional "top surgery."
I did not do a very thorough search. I would love to find out for certain if any differentiation is made in coverage or in the wait for such treatments.

אז למה אנשים חוזרים לעטות מסכות?
בגלל העלייה במספר בדיקות קורונה החיוביות בישראל שהממשלה מפרסמת?
מפני שמשרד הבריאות לוחץ אותנו מציע לנו לעשות כך?
אין צריך לשאול האם עטיית מסכה עוזרת למנוע מאיתנו להידבק בקורונה.
אין צריך לשאול האם אלו העוטים כעת מסכות עברו בהצלחה שטיפת מוח על ידי כוחות השלטון.
אלא צריך לשאול רק שאלה אחת: האם עוטי מסכות אלו באמת מאמינים שזה יעזור להם בכלל כשמכסים רק את הפה שלהם ולא את האף? למרות שהם נושמים רק דרך האף שלהם?
בטח, רבים מאיתנו נהגו לשים מסכות על הפה או אפילו רק על הסנטר, כדי להתכונן שהמשטרה או הפקחים יגיעו כדי לחלק דו״חים וקנסות.
אבל מלבד הימנעות מצרות מצד הרשויות, חבישת מסכות מסוג זה יכולה להיות רק סימן לתכנות לחינוך מוצלח על ידי כוחות השלטון.
האם אפשר להיות טיפש כזה ללא?

Some people in Israel are beginning to wear masks again, and not just indoors, but outdoors as well. This is despite the high temperatures of summer. Anyone remember when even the previous government's Minister of Health Yuli Edelstein temporarily cancelled the outdoor mask requirement because of the high temperatures? I guess not. Because every day I see more and more masks being donned.
Just a few months, the Israeli Government lifted almost all COVID-based restrictions on our day to day lives. Today one can easily find articles in the mainstream news media questioning the need for mask wearing, or even criticizing it. One can even find pieces, much more easily than before, questioning, if not criticizing the need to get vaccinated.
So why are have people begun putting masks back on?
Because of the increase in the number of positive COVID tests in Israel being publicized?
Because the Ministry of Health is pushing suggesting it?
There is no need to ask whether wearing a mask aids in preventing us from catching COVID.
There is no need to ask whether those currently wearing masks have been successfully brainwashed by powers that be.
There is only one question which needs to be asked: Do these mask wearers really believe that this will do anything at all when only covering their mouths and not their noses? Even though they are only breathing through theirs noses?
Sure, many of us used to put masks over our mouths or even just on our chins, to be ready for police or inspectors show up to hand out tickets and fines.
But other than avoiding trouble from the authorities, this sort of mask-wearing can only be a sign of the successful programming education at the hands of those in control charge.

Six years ago, drones were used as photographers for the benefit of boosting tourism and, and no doubt for co-dependent, Israel Hasbara (public relations campaign).
About a month ago, it was announced that drone delivery service trials would be held in Tel Aviv.
Today the drones are being used as loud speakers to shout out mask and other reminders. When will they admit that drones are being used as spies? The English version of the report cited above suggests that drones will be identifying violators. However, the Hebrew version is not so clear.
Israel's facial recognition capabilities have already been revealed, with denials from officials that such technology is actually in use. It is apparently illegal for authorities to use security camera footage from buses to prosecute mask violators. For now. However, there is nothing to prevent authorities from approaching identified individuals to warn them, without revealing how they were discovered.

The Israeli Government has loved to brag about how quickly it has been vaccinating its citizens. Now, there is even debate about forcing Israelis to get vaccinated, whether they want to be or not.
The Israeli Supreme Court is well-known to intervene in issues related to Judaism, when it is neither qualified nor allowed to do according to Torah Law. Such issues include, but are not limited to, kosher certifications, conversion, rights to citizenship, Jewish education, and building in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria). The influence of Torah and the character of the State of Israel is the High Court's greatest nemesis.
Israel's Highest Court Legislators from the Bench now stand to rule on the legality of forced vaccinations, in particular for teachers, police officers, healthcare workers, and others. Are these judges our last hope in the protection of our individual rights, which have become increasingly few and far between?

בע״ה לא ילחצו לחיילי צה״ל להתחסן והחיילים המחליטים הלא להתחסן לא ייענשו.

What happens to those teachers who choose not have Internet service at home? Until now, these teachers and students connect through the Zoom conferencing service through a local telephone number. (Yes. There is such a thing.) This means that Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) students without internet service at home receive material only by way of the teacher's voice. This means no pictures nor graphics, save for what is included in their text books, no writing nor drawing diagrams on the board, etc. In other words, every student who learns over the phone loses out.
And what about students with learning difficulties? Such students are already frustrated. They are only destined to become even more frustrated. And what happens to frustrated religious students? They throw off their kippot (skullcap/religious observance).
"The experts also recommended allowing open-air prayers for up to 20 people, provided all participants have been vaccinated."
Does this mean that Jews may be prevented from hearing the reading of Megillath Esther (Scroll of Esther) on the holiday of Purim? The reading of Megillath Esther takes precedence over all other mitzvoth (Torah commandments), save for burial of the dead. It even takes precedence over Torah study, and when the Beth HaMiqdash (Temple) stands, it takes precedence over the work of the Kohanim (Temple priests).
Will the government tell us to hear the Megillath Esther on Zoom, even though this does not fulfill this mitzvah?
Sure. Why not? What does the government the powers that be care about mitzvoth?
Arutz 7 reports that so far "...no sanctions will be taken against [IDF] soldiers who refuse to be vaccinated." Nor should their be. But shouldn't civilians also be entitled to the same rights?

כולם טועים. ממשלת ישראל פשוט ממשיכה לפעול לפי אסטרטגיית "הפרד ומשול".

And now we have confirmation from Yair Revivo, the Mayor of Lod, a city in the Greater Tel-Aviv Area, next to Ben-Gurion International Airpot. In spite of it being pointed out to me that Revivo may very well be using this rhetoric to target the Arab community, I believe that no one is safe from having services denied, and other restrictions placed upon them. Target one community, and the precedent will invariably be used to target all other communities.

The government's police force minions claim to be afraid of provoking bloodshed. Haredim accuse the police of having double standards, and targeting them instead of the Left-wing protestors at the Prime Minister's House. The Left also accuses the police of having double standards toward Haredim (ultra-orthodox), and targeting secular residents of Tel-Aviv.
They are all wrong. The Israeli Government is simply maintaining its "divide and conquer" strategy.
The truth is that all three sets of protests, the Haredim, the Leftists, and the Settlers, want the same thing: To remove Prime Minister Netanyahu from power, and they want restrictions removed. The Haredim are focused on religious events, the Leftists on the economy, and the Settlers on being targeted by police. Nevertheless, all three communities want all three categories dealt with.
Meanwhile, the robotic and confused mamalkhtim (religious, yet diehard state loyalists) stand idly by, refusing to question the Government's public health policy, doing nothing to defend the Torah, and by extension refusing to question actions by police.
It was also just pointed out to me that if we "don't behave" on Purim, we'll be locked down punished even more during Passover.
No doubt the mamlakhtim will use "saving a life" as an excuse for their compliance, as well as their virulent criticism of other Israel communities.
Really? And when you can no longer use that excuse anymore, will you still stand idly by?

אני כבר כתבתי על הדרכון הירוק של מדינת ישראל, על היתרונות לבעלי דרכול ירוק ועל ההגבלות האפשריות למי שאין להם. אחת ההגבלות יכולה להיות בנסיעות כוללת נסיעות לחו״ל. אפשר לדמיין האיסור לצאת לחו״ל ללא דרכון ירוק? ומה עם לחזור ארצה, למרות להיות בעל אזרחות ישראלית?
ההגבלות בנסיעות לחו״ל ממש כמו מה שלמדנו בבית ספר על ברית המועצות לשעבר ועל סין. הרבה ישראלים יכולים להעיד באופן אישי שממשלת ברית המועצות מנעה מהם מלצאת למדינות אחרות. קראו ליהודי שביקש ויזה בכדי לצאת אבל לא נתנו לו ״רפיוזניק.״ (רפיוז = לסרב באנגלית) היהודים כאלה כוללים נתן שרנסקי ושר הבריאות הנוכחי יואל ״יולי״ אדלשטיין.
מדינת ישראל, הדמוקרטיה היחידה בתיכול המזרח כביכול, יכול להיות המנהיג ביוזמה להוציא גם דרכונים כאלה וגם הגבלות כאלה.

אבל, תראו את תמונת הדרכון הכחול למטה ע״י TravelMedia.com. הדרכון הזה נראה לא רק כאישור בריאות תקין כדי לנסוע. אלא הוא גם נראה כדרכון בינלאומי (גלובליסטי) עתידי. הדרכון הזה יכול להיות תחילת השלב הבה להתבוללות ישראל בממשלת הגלובליסטים. ונראה שכוחות השלטון של ישראל מובילים את היוזמה הזו..

Israel is working on a green passport. This passport will indicate, the holder was vaccinated against COVID-19, and of course, it may have any color.
The passport will avoid quarantine for the holder and give access to cultural events, restaurants.
The green passport would also enable travelers to fly aboard without having to first get a virus test, as is the current requirement.
The passport would be issued two weeks after the holder received his or her second injection of the vaccine.
There will be some form of similar international vaccination card that may offer advantages to vaccinated Israelis who travel abroad.
The green passport is hoped to provide strong motivation, along with the likelihood that some countries will not allow Israelis to visit unless they can show that they have been immunized against COVID-19, the report said, citing government officials.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the top official overseeing the government’s pandemic response on Sunday said the start of Israel’s vaccination drive would be moved up from its target date of December 27, with Hebrew media reports saying it would begin next Sunday.

I have already written about Israel's Green Passport, the apparent rewards for possessing one, and the potential restrictions on those who do not. One of those restrictions might very well be on travel. Imagine not being allowed to travel outside of your country without a Green Passport. And what about returning to your country, even if you hold citizenship there.
Travel restrictions were what we were taught in American schools about the former Soviet Union and Communist China. Countless Israelis can also testify to personally having been prevented from leaving the Soviet Union. We referred to Jews who applied for exit visas, and were refused as "Refuseniks." Such Refuseniks included Natan Sharansky and ironically, current Minister of Health Yo'el "Yuli" Edelstein.
Israel, the so-called "only democracy in the Middle East," may be a leading force in the implementation of such restrictions.
I also mentioned possible restrictions on receiving health care services, such as physicians refusing to see patients in person, unless they hold a Green Passport.
The above report from TravelMedia.com is from over a month ago. It also presents the Green Passport in a very positive light. After all, the travel industry would certainly benefit from increased travel.
But, notice the graphic from TravelMedia.com (above). It not only looks like the prototype for a Green Passport, but also like the prototype for future Globalist Passport, one more step in Israel's assimilation into a global entity, and Israel's powers that be are leading the charge.

עד כאן, לא פירסמו שום דרישה במפורש לתלמידי כיתות י״א-י״ב להתחסן בכדי לעשות מבחני בגרות. כתוב בכתבה למעלה, ״...כדי לאפשר קיום בגרויות.״ מהזאת אומרת? שמבחני הבגרות לא יתקיימו בכלל אם התלמידים לא מתחסנים? כנראה שלא. אי אפשר שיצליחו לחסן את תלמידי כיתות י״א-י״ב לפני 1 בפרואר, תאריך מבחן הבגרות הראשון של עונת החורף, אפילו התלמידים שיש להם הורים שמרשים.
לא נראה לי שיתנו יקיימו את הבגרויות תוכנת וידיאו כגון זום וסקייפ.
The Director-General of the Health Ministry, Prof. Hezi Levy, adopted the decision to vaccinate students aged 16-18 (including 12th grade students over the age of 18), so that high school students could attend their matriculation exams. It remains unclear at this stage when will the move come into effect.

So far, any requirement for students to be vaccinated in order to sit for their bagrut exams (matriculation exams) has yet to be publicized. Two days ago, the YNET article reporting on the proposal, and subsequent debate, to expand Israel's vaccination program to include 16-18 year-olds stated: "...to take their matriculation exams in schools." However, the above report in Hebrew, states "...to allow matriculation exams to take place."
So, which is it?
It seems unlikely they will succeed in vaccinating all Israeli 16-18 year olds, even those whose parents of this vaccination before on February 1, the date of the first winter bagrut exam.
It seems unlikely that students would be allowed to sit for their exams remotely. So, the question of being able to sit for exams at all without being vaccinated must still be answered explicitly.

אנשי הממשלה במהלך דיון להחליט לסגור את נתב״ג או להשאיר את זה פתוח. למרות זאתֿ, בזמן שנתב״ג כן פתוח כל מי שלא רוצה להתחסן או אפילו להבדק לנגיף קורונה יכול לצפות עליהם את ההגבלות האפשריות הרשומות בכתבה לעיל.
ועכשיו מפרסמים...
במסגרת ההגבלות שאותן צפויה הממשלה לאשר, נתב"ג ייסגר לחלוטין, למעט עבור טיסות חיוניות. בצל הביקורת העזה על מה שהסתמן כמחדל, בשל עיכוב בחודשים בקבלת ההחלטה, הממשלה תאשר גם חובת הצגת תוצאה שלילית לבדיקת קורונה לפני עלייה למטוס לישראל. (YNET)
מצד אחד אם סוגרים את נתב״ג, תוצאות הסגירה יכולות לכלול שרוב היהודים נשארים בארץ. ואולי האנשים שצריכים לעזוב את הארץ (מי שמבין יבין) יזדרזו לעזוב את הארץ. מצד שני, סגירת נתב״ג היא עוד מכשול לכל היהודים הרוצים לעלות ארצה או פשוט לבקר. הסגירה אפילו תגביל את בעלי אזרחות ישראלית.
האם כולנו לא נדאג על הסגירה הזו, ונגיד שהיא פשוט זמנית בלבד? או הסגירה הזו תעורר את היהודים שעדיין נמצאים בגולה ולעודד אותם לארוז את המזוודות ולעלות למטוס?

The government is debating whether to shut down Ben-Gurion International Airport anyway. Nevertheless, the above piece lists examples of some of the restrictions which can be expected by those who choose not to be vaccinated and/or tested for the corona virus.
And, this just in...
Ministers also approved the measure that would see anyone boarding a flight to Israel be forced to present a negative coronavirus test, done no more than 72 hours prior to departure. (YNET)
On one hand if there is a shutdown, one result of this policy, is that most Jews will be staying in Israel. And perhaps those individuals who need to leave Israel (מי שמבין יבין) will be ruching to leave. On the other hand, this is yet another obstacle for any Jews who do want to move to Israel or even visit, even for those who are already Israeli citizens.
Will we all just blow this closure off, and tell ourselves it will only be temporary? Or will this shut finally help to wake Jews up who are still in the golah (diaspora) and encourage them to finally pack their bags and get on the plane?
