התקרית הקשה ביותר בצפון מאז 7/10: 29 בני אדם נפגעו מפיצוץ רקטה כבדה של חיזבאללה, ששיגר מטח כבד אחרי חיסול 4 מחבלים מכוח רדואן. בין הנפגעים והנרצחים: ילדים ונערים ששיחקו במגרש הכדורגל. עוד 6 במצב קשה ו-3 בינוני: "הזירה - כמו שדה קרב". צה"ל נערך לתגובה, גלנט והרמטכ"ל בהערכת מצב, גם נתניהו ערך התייעצויות בארה"ב. בחיזבאללה הכחישו אחריות, צה"ל: "זה שקר"

דרוזים
הדבר הראשון שאסור לנו לומר על הפיצוץ בצפון הגולן, מועצה המקומית הדרוזית מג'דל שמס, הוא שלא היו אלה רק דרוזים, אלא דרוזים שלא הצהירו על נאמנותם למדינת ישראל בתחילת שליטתו באזור בשנת תשכ״ז/1967. הם נמנעו מזה בחשש שסופו של דבר סוריה תוכל להשתלט מחדש - או תקבל מחדש - את רמת הגולן. אם הם טוענים שהנאמנות הם לסוריה, אז הם מאמינים שיימלטו מכל עונש על שיתוף פעולה עם ישראל.

עם זאת, בשנים האחרונות המצב משתנה. עוד דרוזים מבקשים אזרחות ישראלית. בניגוד לערביים רבים באזור ירושלים המעדיפים את תוכניות הלימודים של רשות הפלסטינית על פני הישראליות, הדרוזים ברמת הגולן, או לפחות רבים מהכפרים הדרוזים משתמשים בתכניות הלימודים של משרד החינוך הישראלי.

אם לא יותר, נראה שהדרוזים הם אומה שפועלת באופן מעשי.

לא יהודים
הדבר הבא שאסור לנו לומר הוא ב״ה שיהודים לא נרצחו. אמירה שבה חשש לפגיעה בזולת, אם לא גזעני גמור.

מאשים את הקורבן
ישראל תואשמה בפיצוץ העיירה הזו בעצמה, בכדי לזכות באהדה מהקהילה הבינלאומית כביכול. יתר על כן, מה שהעולם מעריך חיים של ערבים, דרוזים וכל אומה אחרת יותר מחיי יהודים, האדה והגינוי יגיעו פנימה ולא אהדה.

Druze
The first thing we are not allowed to say about the explosion in the Northern Golan, Druze town of Majdel Shamas is that these were not just Druze, but Druze who did not declare their loyalty to State of Israel at the beginning of its control of the region in תשכ״ז/1967. They have not done so, for fear that Syria will eventually retake -- or be re-granted -- the Golan Heights. If they maintain that their loyalties are to Syria, they believe they can escape any punishment for any collaboration with Israeli.

However, over the past several years this has been changing, with more and more Druze requesting Israeli citizenship. Unlike many Arab schools in the Jerusalem area which prefer the Palestinian curricula over the Israeli, the Druze in the Golan Heights, or at least many of the Druze villages use the curricula of Israel's Ministry of Education.

If nothing else, the Druze appear to be a pragmatic people.

Not Jews
The next thing we area not allow to say is that Jewish lives were spared. Highly politically-incorrect, if not outright racist.

Blame the Victim
I wrote about this 20 years ago, almost to the day of the massacre in the South. However, this case is much more overt than the case 20 years ago.

Israel will blamed. Israel will be accused of blowing this town up themselves, in order to gain sympathy from the so-called international community. Furthermore, since the world values Arab, Druze, and any other lives more than the live of Jews, the sympathy and comdemnation will come pouring in.
