According an Associated Press (AP) report, appearing on USA Today (February 2, 2014), U. S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Israeli Minister of Commerce Naftali Bennett had a bit of a back and forth. (Tip: Shmuel Rosner)

Naftali Bennett
not taking it lying down
At a security conference in Germany this weekend, Kerry warned that if Israeli-Palestinian peace talks break down, the trend of European businesses and pension funds dropping investments or limiting trade with Israeli firms involved in West Bank settlements will intensify. He said the status quo is not sustainable and that without peace Israel's continued economic prosperity and security was "illusionary."

Naftali Bennett, from the religious, pro-settler Jewish Home party, has been a fierce critic of the Kerry-led talks, slammed the U. S. Secretary of State over the warning.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Pro-settler, huh?

How is this pro-settler?

The "Bennett Plan" vs. The "Arafat Plan"

THIS is pro-settler.

Actually, it it more accurately labeled as pro-Israel, pro-Torah, and thus pro-Jewish and pro-God.

Enough excuses about acknowledging the so-called "reality on the ground!"

It is the role of the Jewish People to make Torah the "reality on the ground."

Making a decision to go to war or attacking another nation or group of people, or not, is one thing. But, refraining from declaring the Torah truth that all of Israel belongs to the People of Israel, there is no excuse, even more so for a Jew who identifies as an Israeli leader.

For this round in the battle against the joint forces of Esau (The West) and Yishma'el (Arabs/Muslims), Naftali Bennett receives a score of 2 Brownie Points.

Much improved, but no cigar.
