ארץ ישראל שייכת לעם ישראל או לא?/Does the Land of Israel Belong to the Jews or Not?

כ׳ לחודש התשעי תשע״ז

English follows the Hebrew.

Jews have to decide already whether the Land of Israel belongs to them or not, declare it and work toward this goal.

If not, the Jewish People risk losing it all.

A few months ago in YNET.CO.IL maps of West Bank settlements were shown, which included parts marked as areas claims by Yishma'elim (Arabs).

And now Amona, an outpost on a hill east of the town of Ofra in the territory of the tribe of Benjamin, accepted a compromise between cancelling the destruction of the outpost, and transferring it northward to the town of Eli, or something else. I never invested the time and energy to check out the details on the news. Does it really matter? What is most important to know is that most of the residents of Judea and Samaria have declared a victory against the State (the High Court).

Nonsense! Such excellent examples of brainwashing indoctrination of the state religious school system!

And all because some Yishmaeli claims that some of this land belongs to him. No need to ask where it was 15 years ago outpost. No need to ask how the Yishmaeli's documents which supposedly prove that this area belongs to him, suddenly came to the court after all this time.

But what does need to be asked is:

Why do Mamlakhti (diehard state loyalist) "rabbis" continue to educate their communities make the mistake that there is no difference between keeping Torah and mitzvoth and keeping the laws of the State of Israel? Are they too afraid of the government to tell their followers the truth? Or are they, too, casualties of the State's education system's indoctrination?

Even so, when will Jews wake up to the increasing number of conflicts between the Torah and the State's laws? Are they really that blind to them?

And even if there were room for democracy in a truly Jewish, sovereign nation, when will Jews wake up to the fact that the State of Israel is not even, a truly democratic state? In a real democratic country, the Supreme Court does not cancel any law it simply does not like, and which goes against its [anti-Torah] agenda.

It is true that Jews shouted one of the ministers who came to Ofra and did not let him speak. And these Jews were right to do so.

But we have seen this all before. We have seen this all before, many times. And each and every time something like that happens these Jews eventually calm down, and forget about the tragedy which they just endured.

This has all happened before, and I am afraid that it will all happen again.

Is This Hanukkah?

Only Simchas: Watch: Obama Hosts His Last Chanuka Reception at White House Using Shimon Peres' Menorah

2016-12-14

President Barack Obama hosted his final Chanuka reception at the White House where a menorah owned by the family of late Israeli President Shimon Peres was lit.

The menorah is one preserved during the Holocaust by the Waldens, the family of Peres’ son-in law, and was used for years at family Hanukkah lightings.

“The menorah survived the Holocaust and was carried from Poland, to France, and finally, to Israel by the family of the Ninth President Peres’ son-in-law, Professor Rafi Walden,” said the statement. “The late Ninth President Shimon Peres, who was raised on Jewish values and traditions at the knee of his grandfather, Rabbi Zvi Melzer, lit the Hanukkah candles every year, and made sure that this special menorah held a place of honor in the Walden-Peres family.”

Peres’ son, Chemi, and granddaughter, Mika Almog, attended the ceremony, which you can watch below. The service was run by Rabbi Steven Exler of the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale. (Skip to the 45 minute mark)

The White House will also host an evening Chanuka reception starting at 7:35 p.m. EST, which OnlySimchas News will stream live online.
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I am just beside myself over this report.

The event itself?

Not so much.

No real surprises here.

An American president, pushing for the removal of Jews from the Land Divinely promised to them, hosts a "Hanukkah reception" .

Barack Obama
An "Open Orthodox rabbi" participates, in what I can only assume is a demonstration of a Jewish holiday observance at the seat of Esau's power, and not an manifestation of לא תוסף עליו, ולא תגרע ממנו, the prohibition against adding and subtracting from the Torah (משנה תורה הל׳ ממרים ב,יג [ט]).

But, seriously? Did a Hanukkiyah really have to be lit? I guess the visual "special effect" was expected.

(I'll give you a topic. "Open Orthodox rabbis are neither open, orthodox, nor even rabbis." Discuss amongst yourselves.)

Shimon Peres
Shimon Peres, quintessential Erev Rav, believing in the removal of borders, chipping away at Torah, assimilation into a global community, and the unification of Esau with Yishma'el, is praised.

Hanukkah is about a war against assimilation, and against Jewish collaborators. Hanukkah is one of our most politically-incorrect holidays. But, you would never know it from such an event. Would you?

As pessimistic as this may sound, none of the above surprised me. Not in the least.

What did surprise me was that this event was publicized on Only Simchas.

Where is the simcha (happiness) in collaborating with the supposed leader of the Western world (Believe me when I tell you that there are quite a few individuals much higher up in the food chain that Barack Obama.), who, interestingly enough, who has a mother from Esau, and a father from Yishma'el.

It may be necessary for Jews to get along with their non-Jewish neighbors, and not cause trouble in their non-Jewish host countries. But, slobbering over and kushen tuchus (Google it!) someone who fought against The Almighty's Will for the Jewish People? Is this really necessary? No. But, like I said. This event did not surprise me in the least.

Where is the simcha in praising an individual who fought against The Almighty's Will for the Jewish People from within Israel? Using his family's hallowed menorah seems apropos.

Where is the simcha in potentially misleading uneducated and assimilated Jews regarding how to observe a Jewish holiday?

If you answered, "There isn't any" to the above questions, then you answered correctly.

How Many Israelis does it Take to Write a Constitution?

ז׳ לחודש התשעי תשע״ז

Answer? None.

Why? Keep reading.

I was bored and didn't have the ko'ah to write in Hebrew, so when I saw this from Abu Yehuda "A blog about the struggle to keep the Jewish state."
Israel needs a constitution, but won’t get one
Posted on December 4, 2016 by Vic Rosenthal

Israel’s Declaration of Independence states that a constitution for the State of Israel “shall be adopted by the Elected Constituent Assembly not later than the 1st October 1948.”

Clearly they’re running a little late. And this is more than Jewish standard time. Despite (or because of) the Jewish proclivity for legalistic arguments, this never happened. In 1950, the Knesset gave up and decided instead to work toward a constitution piecemeal by passing a series of Basic Laws that taken together would ultimately serve the purpose of a constitution. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
We already have a Constitution. It's called the Torah. Democracy, or in Israel's case deMOCKracy, is good for the goyim, not for us.

Glad you're back in Israel. But, remind me again what's Jewish about the "Jewish" state?

OK. So, I know this sounds a little smarmy, even though it's really not supposed to. The reality is that Vic just handed me an opportunity to remind you (get through your thick skulls) about the following:

Vic has at put his money where his mouth is, and has moved back to Israel, where all Jews belong. This is a heck of a lot more than I can say about all you armchair "Zionists" out there in the U. S., who really have no clue, and many of whom still believe that organizations such as B'nei B'rith, the ADL, and AIPAC are actually good for Israel.

So, why am I so facetious? It is SO frustrating how the Israeli public keeps repeating the same mistakes over again, expecting different results. We believe we're voting for a "right-wing" coalition, when in fact they're all just the same, more concerned with what the so-called "international community" thinks of us, rather than what its own constituency thinks, not to mention what HaShem thinks.

Binyamin Netanyahu gave away control over Hevron, Yericho, and Azza, not Yitzhaq Rabin. (*Sure, Rabin gave Arab guns, but does most of the Israeli public even remember that?)

Video: Hero chastised by journalists for mentioning the government's arming of Arabs

Ariel Sharon kicked almost 10,000 Jews out of their homes, not Shimon Peres. (Well, actually, that's not exactly true, is it? Who was really in control of the "Sharon Government?")

Naftali Bennett's "plan" for Arab autonomy and granting other Arabs Israeli citizenship violates the negative commandment of "lo techonem" (Deut. 7:2)*. So do all other leftist land giveaways. But, Bennett has a kippah on his head, and that's suppose to mean something, right??!! No. Not really.

Bennett's Plan vs. Arafat's Plan
Can you tell the difference?
Meanwhile, those politicians who to question the direction of the State, and who do actually speak for the people, get pushed out of the way: Moshe Feiglin, Michael Ben-Ari, Yoni Chetboun, Eli Yishai, and -- dare I mention -- Rabbi Meir Kahane hy"d.

As "impractical" and "unrealistic" this may sound, we need to be talking just as much about the long-term, and not just about the band-aids to fix the unfixable, unfair and (yes, I am going to say it...) ultimately anti-Torah, Israeli system of government.

As I hinted above, the average Israeli (...and the surveys always say that's religious/traditional, right of center, and against all land giveaways) continues to vote for those whom he believes stand for what he stands for, and is continually disappointed.

One of the biggest problems is the self-perpetuating, legislating from the Bench, Israel Supreme Court. Its justices are not going anywhere, with or without legislation. The only thing getting rid of them is some event or events which will them to reveal their foreign passports (alla former Knesseth Speaker Avraham Burg), and to escape on the first plane out of here. This Court is the ultimate example of the illusion of an Israeli democracy.

In addition, the masses have been thoroughly indoctrinated brainwashed into believing that the State of Israel is a real democracy, and that it has successfully adapted this Hellenist form of government to fit the Jewish People. Even though Jews are obligated to live according to HaShem's Will, vis-à-vis the Torah, and the number of conflicts between Israeli Law and Torah Law rises on a regular basis. And so, the Israeli public has been convinced that it must [settle to] be like every other nation in the world.

So, do we really need a Constitution,...like every other nation of the world?

No. Of course not. We have the Torah.

Besides, any Constitution which ever gets written will undoubtedly

*This assumes that Israel is in actually control over the Land (eg. issues the local currency, etc.). Sometimes, I'm not so sure.
