Here are two news reports on the fear of Hizbullah taking control of Lebanon. My commentary follows.
IsraelNN.com - Shalom: 'Grave Concern' Over Hizbullah Takeover of Lebanon

Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom expressed grave concern Saturday over the real possibility of an Iranian-controlled Hizbullah regime taking control in Lebanon in the coming weeks. YNET - Lebanese leader: Hezbollah will turn us into Gaza

Why is everyone acting like this wasn't inevitable? Are Westerners really that naive and/or stupid? Apparently, they are.
The only question here is which will be their next "shock?"
a. The Islamic Brotherhood takeover of Egypt. Here's one of my favorite movie scenes, this one from "Casablanca." I have posted it before, and will probably post it again many times in the future. It beautifully sums up what I believe is really going on in the Middle East.
b. The Islamic fundamentalist takeover of Algeria
c. The Islamist fundamentalist takeover of Turkey(...after its admission into the European Union, of course. Watch for the overturning of the religious hair covering law as a sign.)d. There is no difference between Fatah and Hamas corruption and aggression.
e. The Shi'ite fundamentalist takeover of Iraq(...a significant period of time after the U. S. pulls out, so that the U. S. can say. "it's not our fault." Eh. What do Shi'a care about the U. S.?)f. All of the above
