NYPost: Saudi Airlines Discriminating Against Israeli Citizens
- refuses to sell tickets to fliers with Israel passports, de Blasio probe reveals
Airline refuses tix

Beth DeFalco, July 15, 2013

Something’s not kosher with this airline.

Saudi Arabian Airlines is discriminating against Israeli citizens by refusing to fly them from US airports — even when passengers are simply looking to transfer in Saudi Arabia to another country, The Post has learned.

The airline’s Web site asks for citizenship to book a ticket but has no option on a drop-down menu for anyone holding an Israeli passport. The oversight doesn’t appear accidental — the drop-down menu is so thorough it even has an option for Antarctica.

“No city in the world has closer ties to Israel than we do, and yet Israeli citizens are being discriminated against right here at JFK. It’s not only illegal; it’s an affront to who we are,” said Public Advocate, and mayoral candidate, Bill de Blasio, who conducted a recent telephone sting on the Mideast nation’s airline. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I recommend reading the above piece. Even the blocking of Saudi websites in Israel was revealed,...or re-revealed. A list of partner airlines is also included.

The sarcasm in the title was appropriate.

This should be no surprise to anyone. The only question here, is if Saudi Arabian Airlines will get away with it, or not.

Jews are still banned from entering Saudia Arabia. The handful of U. S. foreign service agents have sneaked in by writing down Christianity as their religious. Perhaps there are exceptions of which I am unaware. Nonetheless, Jews have not been welcome in Saudia Arabia at least since Muhammed ימך שמו massacred 400 to 900 Jews in what is now Medina.

From Wikipedia:
The Banu Qurayza... were a Jewish tribe which lived in northern Arabia, at the oasis of Yathrib (presently known as Medina), until the 7th century. In February/March of 627 AD, their conflict with Muhammad led to a 25-day siege of Banu Qurayza ending in the tribe's surrender. There is much debate about the number executed with some estimating that between 400-900 males (many pubescent and adolescent boys) were beheaded, while the Sunni hadith simply state that all male members were killed, without specifying a figure, and one woman.
We'll see if any investigation into the discriminatory practices on American soil ensues, and if repercussions follow, or if the U. S. Government's oil addiction will prevail.

Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai teaches that we learn a rule that ישמעאל שונא את יעקב/Yishma'el hates Ya'aqov, Yishma'el being the Arab World (Ramba"m).

Let's see how many American Jews finally start seeing the writing on the wall, and tart making plans to leave the foreign land of their residence.

I Want Arabs To Succeed!

צום החמישי תשע"ג
Fast of the Fifth Month (Tisha b'Av) 5773

I want Arabs in Israel to succeed.

It's true. I do.

When I taught elementary school English to Arabs in Yaffo, I wanted them to succeed. I encouraged sixth-grader Mustafa and fourth-grader Walid, by telling them how good they were doing, and how talented they were in learning English. I told them how amazing it was that they were gaining mastery over not just a second language, but a third!

While teaching at this school, I was friendly with a fellow English teacher, an Orthodox Christian Arab. Her English was near perfect, and I told her so.

All of my positive comments to my Arab students and colleagues were true. I stand behind every one of them.

Not only was I just fulfilling the duties of the job for which I was being paid, but I was also fulfilling a misswah. Which one, you ask? Read on.

After two years in Tel-Aviv, I moved to Jerusalem, and was fortunate enough to find a job fairly quickly. It was also as an English teacher, but for mostly adults. Then in the summer, I taught in a summer program for junior high and high school students.

When I taught Arab students, I wanted them to succeed, the Kindergarten teacher and police officer from Abu-Ghosh, and the 7th-grader from Jerusalem.

Many Arabs want to leave Israel, having no connection to the land whatsoever, and wanting to be left alone, raise their families, and stay out of the way of Hamas, Fatah, Islamic Jihad, etc.

Improving their English skills will help them become more marketable both to potential employers in their new home country, not to mention that country's immigration services.

I had the same kewanna (intent) the year before while teaching in Yaffo, both when interacting with students, and when encouraging that fellow English teacher, I mention above, that yes she would do quite well in Canada. Her husband was an Arab Canadian, who was considering a move back with his wife.

If Arabs want to leave Israel, then who am I to stand in their way?
Hopefully, we will not end up having a bunch insane Leftists begging them to stay, like in 1948.

If the Israeli Government is not going to do the right thing,...not to mention passionately doing the wrong things, over and over and over again,...then maybe some encouragement and a gentle push will accomplish what the Israeli government is unwilling to do by force or by bribery.

Amona: The Latest Erev Rav Strategy

צום החמישי תשע"ג
Fast of the Fifth Month (Tisha b'Av) 5773

On July 12, in the goyshe calendar, not surprising used by the Israeli Government, the Binyamin town Amona was supposed to be "evacuated," the government's and the Leftist-control news media's euphenism for expulsion and destruction.

At the last minute, the Israeli "justice" system decided to give the town more time to prove that the the land was "legally" bought from the Arabs who supposedly owned it in the first place. The residents of Amona already were able to produce such documents for something like 70 percent of the land upon which the twon sits. Why this was not good enough for the courts, I have no idea.

Why the settlers are still demonized for following government procedure, I have no idea. The government messed up; it should take the wrap. Of course, the government's initial mistake in the process was not annexing the land in the first place, back in תשכ"ז/1967.when we successfully conquered it, as we were COMMANDED to do so.

Years after receiving approval form the Israeli government to build on a newly founded, Jewish stronghold, the left, pawns of the Erev Rav, Labor Zionists working from within the Israeli government itself initiate the following strategies in order to take down the very town:
1. Battle the legitimacy of the approval in the Israeli justice system.

2. Protest, demanding admittance to the town, and sometimes demanding admittance for Arabs into the town.

3. Bringing CNN and left-wing news agencies from Europe and elsewhere to provide a distorted report on the town.

4. Sabotage an Arab town or agriculture, and then blame the nearby Jewish town.

5. Encourage Arabs, who have been silence for 10 years or more, to come forward and claim ownership of the land, where the Jewish stronghold sits.
We have already seen this happen in Migron and in the Ulpana neighborhood of Beth-El.

Hasn't anyone figured out that that using the Israeli [In]Justice System to remove Jews is a heck of a lot easier that pulling out IDF troops, traumatizing them, and risking the bad publicity of soldiers and entire units refusing orders to expel Jews from their homes?

Doesn't anyone remember the last time we depended on the government and the YeSh"A Council to do the right thing?

Time to stop repeating the same mistakes over again, expecting different results. They just ain't gonna work!

The Israeli government has adapted continuously trying to to find just the right strategy to defeat us, those who hold Torah higher than human law. So, far they have won many battles but are still far away from wining the war.

We cannot be complacent. We cannot simply "stand idly by," accepting "help" from "reinvented" councils, from foreign countries, and from foreign religions.

We must finally wake up.

From Amona's Wikipedia page:

MK Effie Eitom at Amona
Former MK Effie Eitam
(Renewed Religious
 Zionism)
2006 evacuation
10,000 Israel Police, Israel Border Police, and Israel Defense Forces troops appeared in Amona to carry out the demolition and to secure the troops involved in the operation. They faced an estimated 4,000 Israeli protesters, one thousand actively protesting inside and around the houses, and another few thousand in the surrounding area. The protesters mostly consisted of youths from across the country, but especially from nearby settlements and schools, some of which had fortified themselves inside the homes and on the roofs in an effort to block, delay, or protest the order being carried out. The violent clashes that ensued surpassed any previous clashes between the security forces of the State of Israel and civilians, including the 2005 unilateral disengagement from the Gaza Strip and destruction of the Gush Katif settlements.

Nili: “You see me in the photograph, one against many, but that is only an illusion – behind the many stands one man – [Prime Minister Ehud] Olmert, but behind me stand the Lord and the people of Israel.”

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Incidentally, Nili is not a nickname, like you might have thought. It is an acronym. When the prophet Shmu'el rebukes King Sha'ul for taking Amaleq's property, instead of destroying it like he destroyed the men, women, and children, and like The Almighty commanded, he says,...

Shmu'el 15:29 And also the Glory of Israel will not lie nor repent; for He is not a man, that He should repent.'
The Glory of Israel is, of course, The Almighty, Who never has to say that He's sorry. He only has what is best for us in mind, even when some would dare to call it "politically-incorrect."

Swallowing the Bitterness of Tisha b'Av

צום החמישי תשע"ג
Fast of the Fifth Month (Tisha b'Av) 5773

I bumped into my friend Yoel Meltzer yesterday. We had not seen each other in a while, so we took a few minutes to chat.

Invariably, the topic of the impending fast came up. Yoel said that he was on his way to buy lettuce, to eat before the fast. He had heard that eating the lettuce cores before the fast can reduce ones thirst during the fast. He had done this for the past few years, and it seemed to work.

I have heard the same about ingesting something bitter, anything from black coffee to lemon. I chose to drink water all day with lemon juice. I had already weaned myself from coffee over the previous two days, in order to avoid a caffeine withdrawal headache. Lemons also contain electrolytes which bring the water the to where it is needed in the body. Otherwise, the water can just go and out, without doing much else.

Both Yoel and I agreed that we did not care much if any of all of these recipes for an easy fast were only psychological, as in a placebo type effect. If they worked, they worked.

So, last night, this got me thinking. By eating and drinking bitter things before the fast appears to make the current fast easier. This appeared to have the makings of a good metaphor, so I began searching. I found the section in the Babylonian Talmud which refers to the merit received for mourning over Jerusalem, assuming that bitterness was one manifestation of mourning.

TB Ta'anith 30b
On Tisha b'Av one who does not mourn over Jerusalem does not see its rejoicing, as it is said, (Yishayahu 66:10) Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her; rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her; From here they said all who mourn over Jerusalem merit and see its rejoicing, and that one who does not mourn over Jerusalem does not see its rejoicing.

As with any section of the Talmud, the above can be examined on several different levels. However, I want to focus on only one small aspect here.

I found a piece by Rabbi Yehuda Prero, in which he points out that the above is written in the present tense, not the future tense, as it is often shown to be in translation. This begs the question, "What does 'seeing' Jerusalem's rejoicing mean?"

Rabbi Prero provides answer which is both simple and hopeful at the same time. I recommend that you, read the entire piece. In short, we cannot be comforted for the loss of the Temple and Jerusalem, for they are not truly dead. Thus, we continue mourning, just like Ya'aqov Avinu refused to be comforted for Yosef, because he was not truly dead.

He then concludes:

"We can share in the joy of knowing that Jerusalem is not totally lost, and a time will come when it and the Holy Temple will be restored to their former glory.

May that time come soon."

George Zimmerman Case: It's always the Jew's fault.

ח' לחודש החמישי תשע"ג
Trayvon Martin?
Or Trayvon Martin?
Washington Times: George Zimmerman Cleared; His safety a concern

Kyle Hightower and Mike Schneider, Associated Press, July 14, 2013

SANFORD, Fla. (AP) — After a year and a half of living as a hermit, George Zimmerman emerged from a Florida courthouse a free man, cleared of all charges in the shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin

His brother said the former neighborhood watch volunteer still was processing the reality that he wouldn’t serve prison time for the killing, which Mr. Zimmerman, 29, has maintained was an act of self-defense. Late Saturday night, a jury found him not guilty of second-degree murder and declined to convict him on a lesser charge of manslaughter.

However, with many critics angry over his acquittal, his freedom may be limited.

“He’s going to be looking over his shoulder the rest of his life,” Robert Zimmerman Jr., his brother, said during an interview on CNN. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
George Zimmerman
front and back, at time of arrest
Apparently, Trayvon Maritn suffered only a scratch on a finger, other than the intermediate range gunshot wound to his chest. Yet, George Zimmerman suffered all kinds of injuries, including a really nasty broken nose. So, it sure looks like self-defense to me.

Whether Zimmerman was right or wrong, whether an innocent boy was killed, or a crime by a thug was prevented, whether justice was carried or not...

Wait for the riots, the spin, and the legislation.... "Justice" is being increasing taken into the hands of citizens. Whether the are just pawns used to carry out the plans of the "powers that be" to keep up the divide and conquer strategy, I do not know....

But, look! Here's some pre-riots, spin, and suggestion for legislation!

New Black Panthers

(Tip Credit: Your Daily Dose of Conservatism)

00:44 "Trayvon had been assassinated by a..." (assassinated??)

00:48 "wicked white beast, who today is talkin' about he's a Hispanic"

00:53 "We don't care 'cause his father's a Jew. He's a no good Jew."

01:11 "...put a $10,000 bounty reward on the head of George Zimmerman to force the United Snakes...government to do their job." (United Snakes! That was a good one! I have to give credit where credit is due.)

There is much more of the same, but I just don't have any inclination to transcribe anymore. You can always listen for yourselves.

07:47 One of the demonstrators even starts to giggle, and cannot keep a straight face during this segment, and received some admonition from their leader.

Of these "New Black Panthers" make only one anti-Jewish remark, and it is not even clear if Zimmerman has any Jewish relatives. The anti-Jewish element of this four man demonstration hardly seems to be its focus.

Yet, what Jew in his or her right mind remain in any community where such individuals exist. It will always be "the Jews' fault."

As the reporter asked, "Did you just threaten George Zimmerman?" I ask, were these men arrested? Didn't they just commit a crime, knowing full-well that they were being filmed?

Do let me know if any investigation was ever initiated. But, I won't be holding my breath.

And this is only the next step in what is to come. Let us not forget the the riots over the Rodney King verdict DID, in fact, reach Beverly Hills. It was not at all isolated to those so-called "bad parts of town," as some would still have you believe.

For those of you unfamiliar with Los Angeles geography, to get from those "bad parts of town," to Beverly Hills, one must cross through Hancock Park, Miracle Mile, and Fairfax, predominantly Jewish neighborhoods. At least that is one route. Please remember that for next time, and there WILL be a next time.

OK. So, this is the part when you call me "nuts," "paranoid," "reactionary," "fanatical," or all of the above.

Nonetheless, I will continue to warn and admonish Jews in the U. S. and else, that those are not your lands. Those are not your battles. And, no matter how "bad" you think it is in Israel, you must understand that Israel is your home. Your battles are here. And by remaining in the U. S., you are letting "them" win, those who want to prevent the full development and prosperity of Israel as a the Jewish Homeland it is supposed to be.

During this time of year, and now, one day before Tisha b'Av, the anniversary of the destruction of the first and second Miqdash (Temple), among other tragedies, Jews ofter speak of Jewish Unity and Unconditional Love, and that includes distorted interpretations of what these really mean.

The Talmud Bavli is often quoted, Yoma 9b, providing the reasons the Batei Miqdash were destroyed, which included sinath hinam (baseless hatred). Yet, at the bottom of the amud is another reason presented, one which is hardly mentioned in this context, as frequently as the upper half.

Babylonian Talmud Yoma 9b
Resh Laqish was bathing in the Jordan [River] Rabba bar bar Hannah came, and shook his hand. He [Resh Laqish] said to him God detests you [Babylonians], as it is written (Song of Songs 8:9) "If she be a wall, we will build upon her a turret of silver; and if she be a door, we will enclose her with boards of cedar." If you had made yourselves [as strong] as a wall, and all went up in the days of Ezra, you would have been likened to silver, which cannot rot; but as you did not, you were likened to cedar [wood] doors, in which rot can take hold.
In other words, if enough Jews had made aliyah (immigration to Israel) back then, then perhaps there would have been enough of a stronghold on the Land, as well as the military force, to have prevented the Roman conquest, and destruction.

So, in addition to the importance of checking our hearts and watching our tongues, we must also ask ourselves what we are doing to protect our Homeland from further conquest and destruction, such as the absconding with parts of it for yet another Arab state, the assimilation of Jews into non-Jewish cultures, and the infiltration of avodah zarah.

Get on the plane.

500 Jeezer Worshippers Coming To "Volunteer" In Israel

ערב שבת קודש פר' דברים/שבת חזון תשע"ג

In an interview on Christian talk show Focus Today, Joshua Waller, son of "Hayovel's" Tommy Waller, claims they have nearly 500 volunteers coming this year, toward the end of August, beginning of September, to help in the grape harvest, among other things.

Update: My source pointed out to me that this interview took place in 2012, not 2013. So, who can tell just exactly how many "volunteers" they are bringing this summer.

Joshua Waller, May 18, 2012
When the interviewer says, "Now, you obviously get to share your faith, doing that."

Waller appears to avoid answering the question.

When asked again by the interviewer, "So when it comes to sharing your faith, you have to be guarded, but do you find opportunity?"

"Pretty much right now, with where we're at, we're just there to serve and bless the Israeli farmer...."

Josh Waller
Polluting the Holy Land with Avodah Zarah
Of course, what Waller and all Christians do not understand is that they are doing anything but blessing the Israeli farmer, with their worship of a false deity,...or false messiah, or whatever their calling Jeezer these days, on Holy Land.

The curse they bring upon us, only gets worse, when they pass the "right now," to which Waller refers, and to decide to be much less sneaky about the "sharing of their faith."

The Hebrew name for Jeezer, is not Yeshu'a, as the Christians would have you believe, but rather YeSh"U, and acronym ימך שמו וזכרו "May his name and memory be blotted out!"

"With Christians there is no blessing!"
This is a double meaning: 1) No Blessing
and 2) The Jewish town of Har Berakhah ("Mount of
Blessing") will cease to exist.
Jewish collaborator sitting with Tommy Waller
Jerusalem, September, 2012
In the meantime, what do they do in their spare, private time?

Keep their "faith" to themselves?

Refrain from worshiping their false deity?

I will hazard a guess that the answers to these last two questions are resounding "NO's!" However, Joshua Waller is welcome to leave a comment below, pointing out any inaccuracies in this piece.

The Jews who have invited Christian "volunteers" to come to Eretz Yisra'el are complicit in bringing avodah zarah into the Land. We may not see their avodah zarah, but it is here, in Ariel, in Har Brakhah, and many other Jewish towns in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria).

But, it is there, and it is forbidden, and forbidden for us to allow it. And, thus, even more so, forbidden for Jews to be actively inviting them to come, and "volunteer," knowing full well that they will be conducting avodah zarah in our backyards.

However, this is not just about missionizing anymore. Just like Esau changed his strategy several times in his attempts to conquer Ya'aqov, the Christians have changed their strategies over the last two millennia of their existence: slaughter us, convert us and reject us anyway, kill us, pin crimes on us, and then kill us,...and now, they want to kiss us and be our "friends."

Waller himself touches upon some of this history.

As the Gerer Rebbe one said, "The kiss of Esau is the bite of Esau."

But the bottom line has been the same all along, Esau wants his "birthright" back; he wants his inheritance back. Two millennia ago, the descendants of Esau decided to blame Ya'aqov for not following The Almighty's Will, which they distorted, altered, and otherwise just made up.

The only difference between The Crusades of the Middle Ages and now, is Esau's strategy.

They want our Land. They believe they are entitled to it, and they are going to do what it takes in order to take it from us. The harvesting (double meaning intended) of our souls appears to have been moved down the list of their priorities as a side benefit,...for now.

And, I must emphasize that the Wallers' groups of "volunteers" are far from the only ones.

Who is permited to live in Israel?
Even the most lenient opinions agree that Christians and Muslims are both disqualified from residing permanently in the Land of Israel as they are b'al tosif. They have added and subtracted from the Torah.

Although, as Tomer Devorah points out, they are many Christians who claim that they will take on the misswoth (Torah commandments) and reside in the north, while Jews will take on belief in their avodah zarah (foreigh worship), and reside in the south. May The Almighty Forbid!

Only Christians and Muslims (and others) who accept the ENTIRE truth of the Torah, in addition to taking on the 7 Misswoth B'nei No'ah, may be accepted to live in Israel as gerei toshav (resident aliens), in other words, those who cease being Christians and Muslims.

That reminds me. Are Josh's brother Caleb and sister-in-law Kendra still residing in a caravan (trailer) in the Shomron? Which Jewish family is being deprived of living space because of this?

Christian mythology was invented, or rather taken from Egyptian and Babylonian myths, and used as a weapon to battle against the Oral Torah, and claiming that The Almighty "changed His mind," in spite of His indisputable and explicit instructions that this will never happen:

דברים ד,ב
לֹא תֹסִפוּ, עַל-הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי מְצַוֶּה אֶתְכֶם, וְלֹא תִגְרְעוּ, מִמֶּנּוּ--לִשְׁמֹר, אֶת-מִצְו‍ֹת יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם, אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי, מְצַוֶּה אֶתְכֶם.

Deuteronomy 4:2
You shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

As was stated above, the Christians have clearly added, and they have subtracted from The Almighty's Holy Torah.

But, the reality is that Christianity was a convenient, social-political movement, to use as an excuse to throw away their obligation to keep Torah and misswoth, and to do whatever they wanted, one of the first stages of Jewish assimilation into the burgeoning Western culture.

As for the goyim, Christianity was attractive to them. It appeared to have much of what they found attractive about Judaism, but without all of those difficult "Laws," such as kashruth and brith milah, which were soon discarded. In other words, "Let's do what we want!" ...much like the neo-Kairites and the Reformismists later on.

Those Christians who claim they "feel" something when they pray to their false deity, only support my point. Ever heard of mass hysteria? Collective psychoses?

As Jews, we are not to allow the politically-correct "feelings" we picked up in galuth (exile) to get in the way of the expectations on our behavior,...halakhah.

And one of those halakhoth is not to allow those goyim to get a foothold on our Land, now that it is possible for us to prevent them from doing so. Our "feelings" about creating a balance against the Leftists' alliance with Yishma'el, not to mention

This is not hishtadluth. as some Jews would have us believe. This is nothing less than hoser emunah, a lack of faith on our part.

At this time of year, leading up to the anniversary of the destruction of the Miqdash (Holy Temple), let us reaffirm our faith in The Almighty, instead of the power of human beings, especially those human beings who pollute the Holy Land with avodah zarah,...as well as those Jews who help and even encourage them to come, no matter how much time, effort, and money they are promised.

Mayor Zevulun Orlev? God Help Us!

ג' לחודש החמישי תשע"ג

Arutz 7: Zevulun Orlev May Run for Jerusalem Mayor

July 9, 2013

Former MK Zevulun Orlev was approached recently by Jewish Home supporters requesting he lead the party list in the upcoming municipal Jerusalem elections, and run for Mayor. They said he had the best chance of uniting religious Zionism in the capital, leading them to victory. Orlev said he wasn't personally planning to run, but would consider it if granted the widest support possible.

Jewish Home Chairman Naftali Bennett and Housing Minister Uri Ariel have also expressed their support of the candidacy.

Zevulun Orlev apparently looking backwards at a sign."Mafdal: The National Religious Party"
The National Religious Party is neither national, religious, nor a party. Discuss amongst yourselves!
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
"Approached?" Oh, I'll just bet he was approached!

This smells of the aftermath of some kind of deal. Orlev must have some kind of remnant of a power base, which he is holding over the heads of those currently in charge, Bennett and Ariel.

As National Religious Party Chair, he refused to leave the Sharon government until the last minute, and then just sat there while 10,000 Jews were kicked out of their homes in Azza, and their land handed over to hostile, enemy Yishma'elim (Arabs),...and in collaboration with none other than the YeSh"A (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza) Council. See the must-see, 40 minute film "Meraglim" ("Spies"), to learn exactly how the council members collaborated.

Orlev then lost the party leadership to Daniel "let's sit on a roundtable discussion with Arabs" Hershkovitz, ran for it again, and lost again to current "Jewish Home Party" Chair Naftali Bennett.

While former City Council Member Aryeh King (NRP-Otzmah) goes out into the field and busts his tuchus to protect Jerusalem lands from Arab squatters and illegal builders,...

While former City Council Member Mina Fenton (NRP) does the same to protect the residents of Jerusalem and elsewhere from Christian missionaries and other assorted sneakiness,..

While Rabbis Yisra'el Ariel (Temple Institute), Yosef Elboim (Belz), and Baruch Kahane risk much personally for the sake of Har HaBayith (Temple Mount),...

What does Zevulun Orlev do?

Politics and power playing intrigues behind the scenes.

Hmm... It looks like I may even be tempted to vote for a non-religious, mayoral candidate this time around.

Tempted.

Shimon Peres and the Arabs

ג' לחודש החמישי תשע"ג

Arutz 7: Peres Reaffirms Israeli Commitment to Coexistence

July 9, 2013

President Peres and Interior Minister Saar met Israeli Arab Regional Council Chairmen Tuesday in order to promote dialogue and coexistence, "We wish to tell you that all the essential issues of and society faced by Israeli Arab leadership is high on our agenda as well. We aim to provide all the support, advice and assistance we can in our common goal of peace and equality with the 1.5 million Arab citizens of Israel," said the President.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
"Equality?" Well, by now, I should not have to say that President Shimon Peres gives a hoot about halakhah (Jewish Law), which is diametrically opposed to his vision of so-called "coexistence," as well as to any other vision of his I can think of.

If we assume that President Peres is not in the least bit stupid nor naive, then what follows logically is that he knows exactly what he is doing.

And, what he is doing would be twofold:
1. Running around being political and influencing public policy. Even though the role of Israeli President is supposed to be anything, but political.

2. Aiding and abetting those who would see Israel, the People and the Land, destroyed.
I suppose that he would defend himself by saying that he is the President for all Israeli citizens, and deMOCKracy democracy must prevail, blah, blah, blah....

Interfaith Families

ראש החודש החמישי תשע"ג

I completely understand the welcoming of "interfaith families," for the sake of the children, when the mother is Jewish.

When I say Jewish, I should not have to clarify what I mean by this, yet I will anyway. Jewish means Jewish according to halakhah (Torah Law):
1. Having a Jewish mother. Again I will clarify, according to halakhah.

2. Undergoing a proper conversion. Once again, I should not have to clarify, but I will. A kosher conversion is the ONLY conversion. Anything else is just a sham.*
When only the father is Jewish, I really do not see the point. His children are goyim. He may have a responsibility, but the community certainly does not, at least not any spiritual obligations to these children.

The community may have a responsibility to him, to help him find his way, or way back, to his Torah heritage and obligations. If the man in such a family wakes up, suddenly or gradually, and decides to seek out his heritage, that's great. If such a man's wife begins to become interested in Judaism on her own, and ends up converting, that is a different story, of course.

But how many of the "rabbis" in this organization are really rabbis? How many of these "rabbis" will guide this Jew to Judaism? How many will guide him to un-Judaism?

After reading the following note from the Interfaith Family Website, you will see why I am so sceptical:
Note: Rabbis and cantors are often unavailable to officiate weddings between sundown on Friday night and sundown on Saturday night (the Jewish Sabbath)....
"Often unavailable?" What does that mean? That there are some "rabbis" and "cantors" who would?

How many people approaching this organization are being duped into believing that their relationships are acceptable according to the Torah?

How many are being duped into believing that their children are really Jewish, when the reality is that some are, and some aren't?

How many are being duped into believing that they, themselves, are actually Jewish, when in fact they may not be?

'Nuff said.

The Proper Approach
I heard a beautiful story of a bar-misswah celebration at a Chabba"d schul. The mother was Jewish, the father born Catholic, but did not identify as Christian in any way. Of course, that makes the rescue of such children much easier. But, I digress...

The mother became increasingly interested in Judaism, started learning on her own, and sent her son to Jewish schools. To the credit of her non-Jewish husband, he was only supportive of her efforts.

As their son's 13th birthday approached, discussions of how to celebrate the occasion of his becoming bar-misswah, were initiated.

These were the results. His donning of tefillin and aliyah leTorah were like any other boys. It made very clear, yet in a loving way, that the non-Jewish father would not be involved in any Jewish aspect of the celebrations. What he was allowed to do, and encouraged to do, was to give a speech. He understood that this was to be his only role, as he was not Jewish, but his son was. This was the one thing which separated the two of them, just as we say at the close of every Shabbath and Yom Tov, בין ישראל לגויים*.

In this speech, the boy's father spoke of how proud he was of his son, and of his pursuit of a connection to his heritage.

A Jewish neshamah was saved from being lost in the shmutz of being "a stranger in a strange land," and done so with appropriate boundaries.

The bottom line is Jewish organizations are quite able to deal with the "reality on the ground," without saying that "reality" is acceptable, because it's not.

*There are, of course, a handful of individuals who have the status of safeq Jew, one whose status is unclear, for various reasons. You believe that you may be one such individual, please do yourself a favor a find a real rabbi (ie. believes that that both Written and Oral Torah have divine origins, do not believe in false, Christian, or other deity/messiahs, and are not women,...among other things).

Young Israel may be a good place to start. The Orthodox Union (O-U) may be another. The rabbis at these organizations can also provide guidance and/or counseling regarding your "interfaith" relationship, or any other questions about Judaism you may have.

This is your chance to ask those questions you never felt comfortable asking. We ALL have them, or had them. Your heritage is YOUR heritage, but you have to do your part, in order to take part. And that means asking questions. If you encounter a rabbi, whom you do not connect, say thank you, move on, and look for another one, until you find one with whom you do.

You may also leave a comment below which I will not publish, if you do not want to, and I will do what I can to get you the assistance you need.

The Truth About Arabs And How "Progressive" Westerners View Them

ראש החודש החמישי תשע"ג

The following video by Rabbi u'Mori, Rabbi David Bar-Hayim is the clearest and most concise summary I have ever heard regarding the truth about the formation of the current Arabs states and the boundaries, their culture, and the ongoing mistakes in perception of them by "progressive" Westerners,...liberal Jews included.

I have been writing about this for years. How, by acknowledging the truth about Arab "culture," Torah observant Jews are more understanding and even accepting of the Arabs. In contrast, those "progressive" Arab lovers from the West do not truly understand and accept Arabs. Rather, they are in deep denial, believing that they will one day, embrace Western, "progressive" culture, as the "superior" culture that they believe it to be.

These words of mine hardly do any justice to Rabbi Bar-Hayim's analysis of events, past and present. So, do make a point of watching. It is only 12:30 minutes.

Here is the pasuq which Rabbi Bar-Hayim brings into his talk.

Genesis 16:12
And he shall be a wild ass of a man: his hand shall be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the face of all his brethren.'

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I would like to add that I believe the "real leftists" to be genuine in their beliefs,...delusional, but genuine.

However, those who are really in power, the upper echelon, the "powers that be," so to speak in Israel, are actually behind the perpetuation of this myth about Arabs.

If we only talk with them enough,...  If we only give them enough,... If we only ignore their hatred of Jews enough,...

...then everything will be just fine.

I am reminded of an expression. Denial is Don't Even kNow I Am Lying.

The repetition of the same mistakes over and over and over again (eg. Madrid, Oslo, Geneva) are indicative that the "powers that be" must really know that they are lying,... about the Arabs, about their real vision for a Torah-less and de-Jewified Israel, and thinking nothing of sacraficing Jewish blood in the process.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, could possibly be that stupid.
